The reason you're one of my favorite mashup artists is things exactly like this. I know a lot of very talented people that boil these down to "What if x song but by y person, and z guitar part" or whatever but you... you somehow manage to completely change the texture of the source material to the point where it's genuinely a fantastic song in its own right all without changing the source material at all. Yeah, it's technically multiple songs Frankensteined together but you do this so well it might as well be a standalone work and this is no different. All that is to say, I love your work, and I'm so hype for the rest of the album.
