My professor said "Use the study resources for which ever certification you're trying to get". So, I'd say if you're a CPA or want to be one, only focus on those requirements. I'm not a genius but tried to become an all around expert is way too difficult in my opinion. You will try so hard to learn & understand certain things, then will forget things you learned prior due to extreme difficulty. I majored in finance but plan on going for a CPA which is more articulation and critical thinking. The other sectors were majority data science and advanced algebra or calculus which I dislike.
