But if they keep scraping content from sites, they will kill the websites that feed the search engine, right? I mean, if another website takes whole chunks of your content it's seen as stealing, ye they can take and repost with impunity, stopping the users coming to your website. That is not fair and not right. Why produce content at all if they will just piggyback on your work and reap the rewards?

I've never had any problems with this. Seems like Google is good at figuring out who initially wrote the content. So, I wouldn't worry about scrapers and the sites around that strategy.

This is so true, the headlines are the ones that actually saved me from traffic reduction Real example: I did a how to article but because it needs to be mindful of the details (Iinclude the title saying you should read this carefully )

I totally agree with you on almost everything but I have an example why having an event website is a good thing. I actually have another website where the main content is a calendar of events for my state. Until the virus happened, I added events everyday. Yes, Google takes all of them and adds them to their calendar but that’s actually very good. There is only so much information on Google calendar for an event. I was getting a lot of traffic from the Google calendar because people clicked from the Google calendar entry to see all of the details. So I would say in this case you want to be in the Google calendar because it puts your website at the top before any results. The downside, you are adding calendar events every single day of your life lol Another thing about a calendar website, I rank #1 to #2 for “things to do in X” (X being my state) because of the event calendar on my website and also because I created a “things to do in” blog post and embedded my calendar in it. So, every Friday and Saturday I get a huge spike in traffic, even now with hardly any events because people are hoping I am posting something to do this weekend. And, on top of that, my site is 7+ years old but only started getting solid traffic in the last 2 years because I added that calendar. So there you go, food for thought.

Good point! I like how you work with the Google snippets there! There's typically a hidden opportunity when most people see limitations :D (wow, that sounded like a bad cliché...)

Hi, I recently apply for EZOIC and they rejected by blog because of some scraped content. There are 100 blog post in my blog. Now how I can find out which all blog post contain scraped content. Could you please create a video on tools around this?

I do not agree with the travel site. Even for flying in Colombia there are airlines that do not show up neither on google or one of those platforms

Ok, great! I'm basing all my topics research on U.S. traffic and there I just see these snippets more and more so I wouldn't recommend you build your business too much around those searches. But, great if you can snatch some of the traffic in Colombia!!

Gee who wants to build calculator sites and things like this anyway?... The better video would be what to avoid in the niche market or affiliate sites most people are building not these types of sites no one wants to waste time building.
