Ja Pa not really. if images are compressed. But you can speed up load time with w3 cache (a free cache plugin). So if your theme is slow I’d recommend it. But try the fast Astra theme first 🤗

I have found that removing Elementor has improved my mobile speed considerably. Using Astra.

It certainly can in some cases, depending on how many elements you use and what other stuff you're running to optimize. I still score in the 80s with several sites using Astra + Elementor, though.

It's not a theme but an editor that's built into WP... you still need a theme.

Don't you use plugins for Site Optimisation, Backup, Title removal, AMP mobile pages, Check Email, Email SMPT, Broken Link Checker. If not, how do you handle these things?

These were just the most essential plugins that you absolutely need. I use more plugins on most sites. I hope that also stood out.
