This was my first attempt at crafting, after 1k hours. Thank you so much! I feel like I've opened a whole world of possibilities up. Crafting was so daunting. Thank you again!

My biggest complaint with PoE1 is that enemies are only ever at 2 extremes - either they are 1-shot instantly, or they are absolute sponges that take forever to die. Honestly having some more mid-duration combat where some thought is involved is what makes games interesting. If you're just zooming around pressing 1 button/spamming as fast as possible, what is the point?

I don't care how long it takes to fight the blue monster. Just give me a good fight.

id really like to see gear that reduces spirit requirements for summons and have them lean into people being able to have many of one type of minion. One thing that really bothered me in PoE1 is having to have a mix of everything instead of a mono-army of just zombies or skeletons

it kinda shows how some of the legacy PoE 1 players have a hard time wrapping their head around fights actually taking some time and monsters fighting back while content creators from other skill-based arpg's are drooling over PoE 2 showcases. I think GGG has actually managed to make their vision reality and it's a good thing that PoE 1 continues to exist for the people who are more into isometric racing games.

Hope PoE 2 is a slower type of gameplay instead of PoE 1s adhd crack infused pressed 10 buttons at once while keeping track of your hp and mana while using all your potions and congrats you now can play the piano as a fast speed and become an accomplished musician

You were talking about the low levels like it was very slow or something... having played tons of minion builds in PoE1 (not as many as some out there, though). And, walking around with 3 zombies who are constantly dying and needing resummoned for a long time, then 4 for a long while, and eventually get more and more... Seeing this, with several skeletons, we can choose the types, they resummon themselves, and so on? And that is at level 2-4? That is just AMAZING!

7:54 It's a specific named mob, it's prob not that common. If we take the necropolis league in mind, it's prob a pack with low pack density. so prob 2-5 packs. and maybe it's a pack leader, so maybe some packs say 35-50% chance to be accompanied by packleader and so on.. It won't be a full blue pack of those, atleast that's what i'm thinking. Remember you're a minority who want's to zoom, there's a lot of us out here that want's it slow paced!

4:26 @Zizaran, some of us want poe2 to be slower than poe! Please, it doens't have to be a zoomer game like it's predecessor.. Plzplzplz.. It needs to be pleasant and smooth to play, which the slowed down combat helps a lot to emphasize. That people consistently full clear maps in less than a minute in the prequel, is tbh disgusting.. My personal opinion ofc, but i hate hearing people talking about how poe2 is slower, frick it has to be slower! :O The visual fidelity is lost and broken in poe... Remember you're a minority who want's to zoom, there's a lot of us out here that want's it slow paced!

I like the idea that Auras and Minions share the same resource Spirit pool. It balances the game so your character isn't just an Aura bot with minions.

11:00 Complexity and Depth do NOT go hand-by-hand, not necessarily. A clear example, when they did Pathfinder 2 (the Tabletop RPG, not the PoE Character) they switched from the (very complex) old system of having a Standard Action, and a Movement Action, and a Free Action, and a Step if you didn't use any Movement during your actions, and a Full-Round Action instead of using your actions, and so on... to just giving you 3 Action Points. Now, "Charging" at an enemy wasn't a separate rule that costed a Full-Round Action; but instead you could just simply Move+Move+Attack; or instead of having a Full-Round Action attack, you could just decide to Attack twice or thrice by spending 2 or 3 actions; and instead of having a Step (a small 1-square movement that doesn't generate Attacks of Opportunity from enemies) that can be used only if you didn't use any other kind of movement in that round; it's now just also 1 action, and you can choose to step 3 times in a round if you want.... ...all of a sudden the came had more depth, more choices and options... while being simpler and less complex. Good design allows to reduce complexity while increasing depth and options.

Loved the video but MAN you played a ranger as if you were playing a Warrior, you were almost using the bow as a stick to bonk the head of your enemies.

You can play poe2 HC blind exactly as easily as poe1. Wich is to say dozens of deaths before making it to maps. Have you seen the characters people end up on playing blind?

I have never played a minion build in PoE as I am not bothered to learn where to find what Spectres and so forth. This system feels way more approachable and actually exciting even to a non minion player.
