Thanks for this fantastic lecture series, Just so good, clear and well presented. danke fur [oil drop] I was always curious about the truth and origin from these kind of details, i gave up the search and just learned more stuff because there was always an answer/reason. i really like the why and how, Just such a really great presentation inclusion for Concept also.

Wow so we went from not knowing what an atom looked like to building a working atomic bomb within 35 years, that's insane

The green flash on the glass tube, how we can see the beam and not just a dot of light on the end of the tube, where the phosphorous screen should be? Is the whole inside walls of the tube filled with the fluorescent screen?
@AmanUthkrs6 ай бұрын
Zinc sulphide is present on the inside walls, which glows when striked by fast moving particles.

Anybody know where the keys are to the quizzes and exams, if there are any?
@mitocw Жыл бұрын
This version of 3.091 course doesn't provide solutions to the exams, only solutions to the problem sets are available. See the course for more info and materials at: ocw.mit.edu/3-091F18. There is an older version of this 3.091 that does have exams with solutions: ocw.mit.edu/3-091SCF10. We hope that helps. Best wishes on your studies!

Is there a test that involves all of the questions. Can I figure it out. I have. There are a lot of variables that go's into my equation all of the above. If I sit down and connect the easy dots. Do I have a chance????
