I remember helping my Nana make my 2nd birthday cake. I got to choose the flavor and I chose chocolate and peanut butter and I stood on a chair next to her and got to help mix the peanut butter into the chocolate frosting and I remember the way it smelled and tasted, but if I switched my phone number, it would take me about a year to memorize it.

Wonderful to see all our beautiful faces watching? This is a very useful example of something that's not well-understood. The apparent overlap between narcissism and Asperger's clearly arises from becoming disingenuous having its roots in masking. We shouldn't think it's a coincidence that despite being way beyond masking, this comment obviously originates in asperger face blindness. I think gives some good insight into the composition of the dark empath personality. I'm aware this is probably unwelcome Aspie bluntness and that I can also be wrong. We need Aspie KZbinrs, and I'm just saying give a couple seconds thought to what kind of Aspie can do that. Just is what it is. The channel provides useful and, more importantly, ACCURATE content 👍

The video in a nutshell: have a partner/friend that does everything for you and actively makes an effort to help you deal. I recently realised that doing something with my hands really helps me to better focus on something like a university lecture. Like playing around with a pen, a deck of cards, whatever it is, but possibly something that doesn’t require any mental effort. Especially now with online lectures I really have issues with staying focused. It’s just way more exhausting for me and also I have so much stuff around me to lead my thoughts anywhere else than where they should be. After a while; especially when the lecture isn’t particularly interesting, I almost always zone out.

Hi. I am feeling happy. Thanks to your videos (you tube recommendation thanks you tube! I wasn't even searching autism!) I'm realizing I have tons of symptoms of being on the spectrum (37 undiagnosed-probably apparent from what I've said so far) and your videos have helped me see myself through more loving eyes and understand that what I've been doing my whole life to keep myself calm and in high function mode is a great strategy! Stuff like having earbuds in even with no music if music itself becomes too much for me when going outside my house. Taking alone time when I get overwhelmed. Planning out my life with backup plans and even a plan of how to care for myself if all plans fail so I can manage to stress of things not going according to plan. And other stuff like this. Basically I had it pretty much figured out at one point but over time people who took my strategies, and also times strategies failed and my hard time affected them. People who took these things personally their comments resulted in me believing I wasn't nice or a good person but I am nice and a good person just with things that go on internally that require special solutions and I am so happy to be in this internal space right now! Thank you for saying I can have a conversation and please share! :)

Very good video on these subjects. I totally zone out all the time. I can't concentrate on anything. It even makes it very difficult to read, or to read my music. When I zone out I'm constantly daydreaming about anything. Omg, I couldn't organize an empty room. You're really lucky you have someone to help you with that. Memory is another bad problem I have. Unless it's a big event, I can't remember anything short term. However, I'm actually good at remembering like dates for doctor visits, or sometimes number dates of a big event. Notice I say big events, day to day stuff just goes. Since you play guitar here's a quote from an old jazz musician before our time. "I don't know what I just played, and I just played it." Don't ask me who said that I can't remember.

I have a problem paying attention if I'm asked to do many things, and I often have to ask again to make sure if I did what I was asked to do. But sometimes when my family thinks I'm not paying attention,(not looking at them, doing something else, ect.) They'll ask me if I'm paying attention and I'll repeat exactly what they said. Organization sucks also; i have a bunch of random papers and books on my desk...my aunt got me a small planner book so I can write down stuff to help me remember important dates for things that are coming up, though I seldom use it (plus my handwriting pretty much desecrates the paper) and half the time I can't even read what I've written down. To make it easier, I write in all caps.

Today was emotionally tough. I have autism/Asperger’s and find that texting is difficult for me when I do not understand the meaning or emotion behind the text. This is made more difficult when there are no emoticons. Since this is true for me it is often easier to video with someone so that I at least can have a better idea of how the conversation is going. Also, I recently started watching your videos and have learned a lot. I work as an education assistant in an elementary school. This year I work with two children on the autism spectrum. Over the years I have read a lot about autism/Asperger‘s. It is refreshing to further continue my learning through your videos. 👍🙂 Keep being awesome 🤩. Mary (Canada)

So I've recently in the last few years come to the conclusion that I think I have aspergers. Its a very good explanation to a lot of things I deal with. I've always known I was a little different than others, that my thought processes and thinking and reactions and emotions are different than the average person. I've always said I'm an aquired taste and Aspergers is a very good explanation for it... I understand that treatments and symptoms can be very different between male and females... But are you aware of any treatments for aspergers or how it is treated in general? I intend to look into getting a legit diagnosis, but dont want to waste my time doing so if that is all I'll get; a diagnosis.

I’m doing so so miserablely currently, stuck in a house with a smoker and my dad doesn’t understand how bad it is for me and my brother here.. and he’s taking our guests life above his own daughter life.. and he said I have to move out of the house which I can drive and every but I’m slow..I’m not good at adult stuff I need someone there as a guide.. on my own id be lonely and need aid to understand how to do adult stuff.. Like paying bills and paying taxes. It’s just not fair because it’s not like I choose to have these breathing and health issues because of someone else’s bad habits. So now suddenly I’m told I have to leave everything I know behind and support myself without anywhere to go and no one to aid me. I’m breaking down while watching this video because it just hurts.. Mind you I can drive and such I can get away but to just suddenly leave? Plus my brother has autism confirmed and gets money from the government. We both play games together and hang out so if he’s stuck here too then what’s going to happen? He can’t get away unlike me. It’s just really horrible stuck situation and I’ve got no idea what to do... Smoking effects especially on people who have autism and hypersensitive to everything plus allergies. It’s no joke how bad it is...

If i am interrested in the subject become i will talk mostly to much and when it not bother me i will lost and hear them talk but not what they say or i move to my left leg to my right leg without nothis it on the first place.
