This is a lot more helpful than what I learned in my in-person beginner classes, which was basic steps, one turn, and then lengthy patterns. I like the patterns, but the insight of identifying the individual components and using them throughout the dance like you’ve shown here did not come naturally for me. Also love the advice about using crossbody leads to make the dance more dynamic and buy time.
