9:50 if you do what you suggested, routing just the perimeter, at the end of your process, you will have a large loose piece in the center that will get thrown around inside of your template, most likely exploding as it repeatedly bangs into the high speed bit.

Jonas, I would agree if this was a large piece we were routering away. These router templates (inside part) are only 3-4" long, so at all times, the hand-held routers base will be holding down most (if not all) of the piece being routered away. That being said, could it happen, its possible, so it is a good point and I appreciate you mentioning it. And never forget to wear protective gear such as googles or full face shield.

16:31 you could make napkin holders without the candle hole, or still use it for napkins even with the hole as an alternative for a candle holder

I have been following you for a long while and love what you do and the way you explain the processes. I've also purchased plans and enjoyed making, but as you've purchased more magic machinery along the way (and rightly so) I feel stuck. I only have a very small workshop and no place for fancy equipment. I will keep watching.

Great job. Really nice projects. I was waiting for you to notice the candy cane was upside-down. I saw it right away and was yelling at my screen, but you didn't hear me. We all make mistakes, and I was thinking that is something I would do. Looks like you got it fixed or made another one.

Kevin you have a good eye! You are absolutely correct, this was glued up upside down 🙃- I realized it after it had been sitting for a good 10-15 min and I had to pry the hexagon open to flip and reglue😂😅
