Aw yay a little different sort of Woodshop Diaries video! I'm not normally a "crafty-projects" type, but these are so creative and fun that I forgot that I'm not normally a crafty type. Plus projects with friends are always a blast (Hey Abbi, you're a natural!) That multi-tiered serving tray is the kind of thing that is both useful and decorative! Thanks for a nice diversion on a Saturday morning.👍👍

Crafty projects are so much fun sometimes to decompress from the stress of big builds. I think I love them more than furniture 🙈 but small projects don’t perform as well so I have to stick to sharing what gets the better views. That said, I do like to share some of them here and there and I’m glad you enjoyed these! I’m hoping Abbi makes more appearances in the future 🤞hopefully I didn’t scare her off haha. I hope you’re enjoying your weekend and I appreciate you letting me be a small part of it!

Those all turned out so beautiful and would be very unique to have as holiday decor!!! It's always such fun to build a project with a friend. I'm sure you and Abbi had a great time making the Christmas trees. Love how they turned out!

Shara, I can't believe we're looking at Christmas already! Getting some Christmas projects going while listening to Jingle Bell music in the shop really gets me going. Plus it's a good use for all those scraps I've accumulated during the year. I sure hope you're having as much fun as it looks. Really enjoyed this video. As usual, hugs to the critters. Thanks for Sharing! 🙃🙂🤩

I love the Christmas trees. It might be simpler than tracing or taping to just use spray adhesive to adhere them to a thin piece of MDF; and then you'd have a re-usable template for batching out multiples with a router and pattern bit.

Love these! Two questions, if it isn't too much trouble: 1) Can the tree platter/stands hold mugs? I can't tell if you could sneak one in the top. 2) If I swap the little ornament-dowels on the tree art for clips, do you think it could be used as a holiday card holder/display? Thanks, I love your projects!
@WoodshopDiaries18 күн бұрын
Hi! Sure! 1: it depends on the size of your mug. The top tier could fit a small mug, but nothing huge. The middle and bottom can definitely hold some mugs. 2: of course! That’s such a fun idea!
