I tried the first remedy with caster oil but I used normal castor oil instead of black and left it overnight. Washed my hair around 10am and my hair feels soft and manageable. I have dry and frizzy hair so conditioning is a must but after using this remedy, I didn't have to use conditioner. Now washing part was a bit hard. The mixture turned a bit hard on my hair so it wouldn't just wash off, I had to use shampoo. Thank you

I think yes because it removes dandruff from our scalp and also the particles falling off you scalp can be flakes of the ingredients you used. This is what I observed in my case and if you'll look carefully you'll be able to differentiate between dandruff and flakes of ingredients.
