"Hey Abhinav, you are doing a good job, man. My name is Vikrant, and I am a doctor. I have been consistently going to the gym for the last 2 years and 3 months, and I am almost satisfied with my physique. However, I want to see my natural genetic potential, which is why I am continuing on this path. This is my first time watching one of your videos; before this, I have seen multiple reels of yours. Abhinav, I have a question: My workout routine consists of first doing 4 sprints for 30 seconds with 1 minute of normal walking. Then, I do 2 abs exercises (on alternate days). After this, I work out for nearly 1 hour and 15 minutes. Following my workout, I spend 10 minutes in the steam room and 15 minutes in the sauna. After that, I take a cold shower, and believe me, it's amazing. Abhinav, I noticed that when I'm in the sauna, I see my heartbeat going up, similar to when I'm sprinting. Even in the sauna, I sweat 5 times more than when sprinting. Does that mean the sauna is also a kind of cardio or something similar?"

There is indeed a co-relation between cardio and sauna in terms of their impact on heart rate. However, since you are not expending energy/calories with the rest of your body, it cannot have the same impact as exercise.
