if master channeler is not super needed for survivability, and incinerate proves difficult to cast reliably we could use lake of fire to boost searing pain spam dmg with demonic grace on the legs. Although i saw somewhere that maybe demonic grace only effects your meta abilities and not all your spells? Also really curious to know if your immolate damage will snapshot with lake of fire.

Man this will be interesting to see how it works out. It may be fun and good, but it may be so imbalanced but also just retail spells gated in rune loot and level heh. We'll see.

Got a feeling the master channeler effect maybe a curse or a magic effect, I think it's gonna get dispelled too often to be useful, but im a rogue scrub so I might be completely wrong, can't wait to find out :D

The problem with destro that I've had in PvP is because we don't have any escapes at all, it feels really bad being forced to hard cast your DPS. Channeler, haunt, agony, corruption are all instant and easy to maintain with channeler having insane value and uptime. Probably the best dueling spec available. If you can manage to get a fear off, you'll usually win a joust as you run behind the dude you feared because channeler is a 20 yard maximum hahaha.

but destro can do good in pve and pvp, i love lock affli in pvp but its hard to do good damage in pve :c

Okay so I'm going to test out a variation of the first build discussed in the video. And I think it will be more effective and here's why. Now roll with me on this. I want to take all the same talents discussed at the beginning but instead of 5/5 cataclysm for the 5% reduced mana cost of destro spells, i'm going to go 5/5 improved shadowbolt. Reason being, if you read the tooltip for metamorphosis version of shadowbolt called shadowcleave, it says "Shadow cleave benefits from and triggers most talents and effects that shadow bolt benefits from and triggers". This means that I can shadowcleave 3 targets in melee range, and if it happens to crit, it should trigger the 20% damage bonus of all shadow spells on that target including corruption, curse of agony, drain life and shadowburn. I find that infinitely better than just a measely 5% reduced mana cost on searing pain and shadowburn. PS. Additionally, I'm going to try 5/5 aftermath for 10% to daze target from my searing pains and shadowburn because I rarely ever cast immolate in pvp situations like wsg

I liked it, It's pretty solid. Incinerate is tuff to get off, but BIG damage. I swapped to Demonic now and pop that bad boy and am getting 100-150 SP Crits and getting 70-120 claws (Prolly better to squeeze 3 pains vs 2 and a claw, but I like the ability :) ) I use it for damage, also take +Fire damage pieces think I've got 3ish. Then I just run the Succ pet and they fucking crank alongside me. Seems a lot of personal opinions for the demon lock. Haunt is just so OP more are focused on that. :( @@connorcarlson3388

They changed Meta to replace your fear aswell which is a huge nerf for pvp. Think this will prevent it being absolutely broken. Also searing pain is lvl 18 rank 1 so idk how much danage that will do.

searing pain lvl 18rank is 38-47 damage, and being a short cast time it benefit for a fraction of your spell power, im pretty sure it will be garbage@@Cobrak

Instant Searing Pain will only be good to generate threat on enemies really fast, like sunder armor for Warrior, the damage isn't that good unfortunately

I play meta in pvp and built for fire damage / spell power along with stam and I have 2K armor each of my searing pains does 70 dmg after I incinerate and crits for 110-120 so it’s not too bad for an instant cast plus u dot em up and drain life instant cast only thing that sucks is losing ur fear but u counter it by waiting until they’re close to transform so it goes fear,dots,incineration and by time they on u just transform and spam searing lol also it makes ur life tap actually do something sucks they put it as a glove rune wish it was a chest one

@@psylentsage they'd have had to move haunt as well then there's no way they'd let us have both haunt and meta if they did, it would be nerfed into the ground in short order - at minimum, we'd see haunt lose the healing effect

I did destro build for bfd and althou the damage is pretty massive, i cant handle pvp - i have 720 hp RAW and casting time of spells which do most dmg is insanely high - 2,5 seconds for incinerate and chaos bolt. In honorable pvp - which rarely does happen, is bad. In ambush its trash and ambusing its kinda similar. The range, cooldown, pets interrupting casts - everything is bad about warlock.

half of the classes seem to be useless with 15 Talent points feral seems unplayable warrior seems unplayable cus they get most of there skills that are usefull at WAY later lvls i have a feeling this SoD has not been though through
