To all the warlocks talking about Everlasting Affliction. Which 3-4 mobs in any dungeon/raid so far have you had that survives for 20+ seconds?? I sure as hell have not encountered that yet.

But.. you get like 1 point more healing per tick of drain life with improved drain life. I dont see how improved life tap is NOT better in all ways.

I agree, tested both. Imp life drain was 2 extra per tick. Lackluster

Keep in mind imp drain life gives you more threat both for damage and healing.

@@Bzk-- Marginal threat at best. Warlocks does not have any issues holding threat on single target IMO and even if, i dont think that small amount of added threat will do the difference, compared to imp life tap + SP spam

@@MrBa143 oh yea it Is definitely marginal, that being said i think almost all of the talent choices at this level are marginal except the corruption talent, i personally dont run imp drain life cause id rather have the extra stamina from demonology, tho ive been thinking about dropping a few points from that talent to grab improved imp for extra dps now that i have pretty decent gear

If you feel pretty tanky without demonic grace why don't you go all in to threat and get a total of 7% searing pain Crit chance? Do you really need the HP and imp corruption?

TBH I tanked the raid today and felt extremely tanky to the point if overkill. My friend Winky mentioned this as well, so I might try it. Imp DL didn't feel needed at all. Would suck to lose Imp Corr tho since the threat/dmg on it is nice, but yeah, def going to try it

@CrixGuides The build I am running is pretty much the same except I take 5/5 on Improved Shadow Bolt with Demonic Grace Rune. This makes it that most of the time I use shadow cleave it crits and increases shadow damage dealt by 20% when it crits. Increasing your healing from Drain life and damage from Corruption.

ISB doesn't affect damage from drain life or corruption...

Hey man I'm seeing the totem of infliction listed in your pre-raid bis list. My question is how to get that while being horde? Possible at all? Everything I'm seeing is that it's for alliance but maybe someone else knows more about classic than I do :D

I wouldnt worry about it too much, youre just fine using the staff you get from the meta questline until you get dagger and off hand from BFD

I went for incinerate to for pull and increased single target threat & dmg, I'm using improved imp for fire shield, stamina and extra dps.

My biggest issue with demonic grace is you cant cast it if your pet dies. So if you use the voidwalker shield at any time, you just can't use demonic grace.

You shouldnt be using voidwalker in the First Place in any pve encounter atm

Use incinerate and immolate on pull, taunt before or after incinerate depending if you lose aggro or not After incinerate, then establish threat lead with searing pain; After that keep up drain life and your other dots and dont be afraid of Life tapping as much as you need to. Theres not much else to it

Why do we only need 5% hit? Don't you need 16% to be hit capped against raid bosses?

I'd say incinerate then spam SP to every mobs lake of fire pre pull where you'd tank also helps with threat, just be careful not to pull them with the lake itself. shadow cleave is only good when all the mobs melts in like 3 secs
