Here's the next episode of Three-For-All with 3 Blues Saraceno Licks From 1994.
I had fun putting this two-part series of lessons together, by taking a look at some licks and ideas from Richie Kotzen in the first lesson and then wrapping it up with some ideas from Blues Saraceno (who replaced him in Poison during the 1990s).
Blues is a phenomenal player and there's a lot you can learn from tackling some of his expressive phrases and fiery licks. I've been a fan of his music since I was in high school and while I did put a Three-For-All lesson surrounding him together last year, it's always a good thing to revisit players and find more you can beg, borrow, and steal from solid musicians like him.
This lesson features a number of slick moves and great ideas from Blues that came from a live performance when he was playing with Poison in 1994. These ideas include some aggressive string-bending phrases with plenty of feel and conviction, not to mention some crafty melodic licks that really expose more of his unique and signature guitar style.
Now that I've hit some ideas coming from Richie and Blues, I did notice that I've received a lot of C.C. DeVille requests since I starting putting this little series together, which came as a surprise - but in a good way. After reading some of the messages and requests, now I feel like hitting some "underdog" players, so you'll be seeing something related to C.C. DeVille soon enough.
