Donald Duck Dunn.... I have no formal training, self taught by ear, this lesson was advanced for me because I have no clue what you are saying 😂... I memorize what you are playing by rewinding and watching your fingers. Thanks for the lessons!😊👍✌️❤️

This lesson helped me sooooo much as a beginner bass player struggling with the basic blues riffs. Thank you. I love John Deacon. He is the reason I started trying the bass guitar at 77. (Played drums in high school and in a small combo for a while after.) Loved his bass on A Kind of Magic and Millionaires Waltz, and of course, Another one Bites the Dust.

I have the same white Jazz behind him. Nice presentation but I'm a old heavy metal dude. Nice P bass too. I have the same P too but it's a 1964. Heavy think flat wound and that bass went with me to Jamaica for 15 years. Reggae....a bass players dream....it gets the boddie on the dance floor.

There is nothing wrong with saying " lhey you guys" and furthermore some people like being bass guitars .... I would love to sign up for you course as I love the blues. Im a harmonica player who has just started bass. So when Im watching your video I have no idea what so ever which finger you are using to fret with. From the video angle you supply you have four fingers on four different frets so unless I (the student) knows all the notes and positions there are, on the fret board, (at which point why do the lesson because I already know it all ) how do I know which fret you are using. Very confusing for a beginner. I will keep looking for a teacher who teaches the blues on bass who at least once, fingers with one finger to show the learner which fret to use Sorry bud it took me an hour to work out the pentatonic scale from your lesson , replaying 20 times Keep it simple bro just once throughout the lesson Hope this helps somebody

yeah, man...you know..there are many others..but he provided the roots..and many younger bass players are more interested in soloing..you know..the less is more..if you know where a certain note must be, you do not need to speed a ton of notes instead..also many bass players play well but their singing on electric bass sounds not as good..this is why we love james jamerson and cats like him..it is the same on jazz and rock and pop and everything..
