Je ne suis pas retourné à Bruxelles depuis 15 Ans. Ça me fait plaisir et bizarre de voir ces images. J'ai beaucoup aimé, pour diverses raisons cette métropole, même si j'y ai eu un accident du travail heureusement sans gravité physique. Merci à vous tous et toutes, personnels de la STIB et habitant de Bruxelles, pour cette visite virtuelle de la Ville que je n'ai jamais visité réellement. Great video from STIB/MIVB, our trams in Antwerp from ‘’DeLijn’’ Will also get new Routes & Numbers starting at January 2025. Our tramline 3 thats running in my through my street Will be known as tramline T9 in the Future, we gonna miss number 3 as well

@@vdvlb Thank you Vincent. I will wait with excitement to see lines 9 and 19 very soon. I have seen in your video of Line 3 that there is a second rail going towards Line 10 at Hembeek. If I was a planner for STIB routes, I can see Line 19 being extended from De Wand to Hopital Militaire! Just my thoughts, Vincent!! 😎😎

I always wondered why the brussels signaling system has such odd speeds like 13 and 27. I drive in den haag in The Netherlands and our system just says 30 or 15.

Interesting lines you have there. Was this tunnel section supposed to be / will it be part of the metro in the future or will it always be something in between? I also don't see any warnings about changing the speed limit or whether it's not very safe - the driver has to remember every place on the network himself.

@@Matz32 Indeed, the tunnel sections between Gare du Nord and Anneessens but also between Gare du Midi and Albert are part of the future Subway line 3. About warnings and signalling, in all underground sections the speed limit is controlled by the signalling system. When a tram exceeds the authorized speed or passes a red light, this vehicle is automatically braked until it comes to a complete stop. On street running or private right of way some sections are limited to a speed for safety reasons, but that brings not automatically the vehicle to the stop or to the restricted speed. And finally, Yes, the driver must have a perfect formation for each line to ensure security in and around dangerous or potential dangerous place.

The halfway metro stations are extremely unattractive, looking like something from an iron curtain country from the early eighties. The tunnels are dirty and look like the 1930s. I know the basic cause is not the city of Brussels, but the fragmented Belgian government which has given mismanagement a new definition.
