I had a similar hand where I had the nut straight on the flop, board has a flush draw. I raise, guy reraises, third guy goes all in, I call, and the first guy rejams. I call. I was up against a set and the nut flush draw and managed to fade it all for the win. I've never felt so sick in my life just waiting to lose that one.

I think flatting k9s on button is good against utg opens. But against cutoff that’s a fist pump 3 bet.

Good fold with AA. I did that over the weekend in a tournament with AA on 7-8-9 Two of the same suit and get led into. I just folded. I knew how this player played. And it was unlikely I was good.

@@BenDeach @BenDeach I whole heartedly agree with you. I was so very much looking forward to the Irishman and when released. The strength of so many of Scorsese films are they they are very impactful and so many memorable moments. The greatest thing about the Irishman was the absolutely epic cast but it seemed to drag quite a bit and my 1st impression had me asking, "Why was it 3.5 hours?" Casino was 3hours but never once did I ever think it was to long and soooooooo many memorable moments.

your aces analogy or outlook is completely wrong. it's hard for AA to get much better, and with another A or a set, you are more likely to win or be able to catch bluffs more comfortably. you gotta think of hand strength after the flop
