Bewear just gave me an idea what if we had a guardian of the jungle. It will be a very powerful wild pokemon that will attack you if you attack the jungle buff . It could make farming in the jungle harder and less monotonous and will also attack invaders even if they are in stealth

Galvantula could be a trap-based support, Bewear can be an All-arounder that can do more damage the lower their HP is, and Toxicroak can be a poison-based speedster that can do more damage towards poisoned foes. Also, farm mobs that evolve into buff giving pokemon later on could be an interesting idea.

honestly a spider trapper who relies more on cc but then doesn't do too much damage could be a great physical support character, also when it comes to the current bug types in game we don't have many that actually look insect like, crustle is mostly a cube, scissor looks too human and buzzswole looks like a stack of cherries with a mosquito face

I would die to have Galvantula, it'd make such a cool Supporter but I could also see Attacker or Speedster. Also I reckon the baby Pokémon thing is so stupid coz like there are Pokémon in the game that have a babyish feel, like Ralts or Squirtle. Riolu and Munchlax have never struck me as babyish. Besides, we know the baby mons can take a punch, they all fight in the mainline games and Pichu specifically was in Smash sooooo

I’d be down for them adding another pikachu that evolves into alolan raichu or is just that form to begin with. I’d say give pikachu’s the option to evolve into alolan or regular raichu but since it’s a region difference, wouldn’t make any sense.

There is a Pokémon in Unite whose lore stands out as being pretty messed up already -- Trevenant. If you "harm the forest" it lives in it will "trap you so you can never leave". But if you're worse and "ravage the forest" it straights up "devours" you. Not only that, but Phantump are the spirits of children who have died inside forests... the lore seems to be that a kid that Trevenant views as being a threat to its forest habitat will basically be turned into a Phantump by it. If you manage to escape Trevenant -- which some lumberjacks do by having Fire-Type partners since Trevenant fears those -- it will still lay a curse on anyone that fells a tree. At least Trevenant is kind to the other Pokémon that live in its forest! I guess?

It feels like the other way around. Phantump are probably children who got lost in the woods, so when they died the forest become their home. Trevenant probably just scare people so bad they too wind up lost, but only the children are allowed to stay. But who knows, a lot of dex lore reads like scary stories told to children to make them behave, just straight up "don't go into the woods at night, the monster will get you".

I may be the most arachnophobic person on the face of the earth but I gotta say, Galvantula is my favorite electric type by a long shot, I'd be ecstatic if they added the lil bugger. Bewear is also quite silly looking as well and I personally have a connection to Toxicroak from my PLA playtrhough, so if any of these got added back in *preferably as a playable mon* that would be great. And as for the comment on the lore I'd just like to remind everyone that Phantump is supposedly the spirit of a CHILD who got lost in the woods and LITERALLY DIED, and yet we have Trevenant in the game

Toxycroak? Ykw? It’s cute i’ll let it slide. I’m surprised they took out Toxicroak, it’s harped on very often that its poison can be diluted to make great medicine, but it takes something like 2 days. Yeah it’s a fighter, but spoiler alert for a game a year old, in Legends Arceus, one of the quests is catching a Croagunk to help the medical department. Additionally, Croagunk is one of Brock’s pokemon, always punching him when he gets too boyish around a lady, and to boot, Croagunk is a playable foghter in Pokken tournament, both to fight as and for assists. I think Croagunk would be an excellent addition to the roster, and then Sableye wouldn’t be the only sneaky little gremlin running around the map.

Bewear isn’t that scary if you just consider the fact it’s merely squashing your spine by accident with hugs. Gengar out here is stalking people from their shadows until they just fall over from exhaustion and loss of will to continue. “There is no escaping it. Give up.” Also we have Pallosand, a ghost sand castle that swallows people whole to eat them and keeps the bones under itself in a pit, which is can then apparently fire back out at people

Idk I feel like they got rid of them cause they all bring up a common fear off some sort which could set off a kid who has had traumatic experience with it such as they could be scared of spiders or frogs and for beware since it’s dex entry is messed up which means it could cause a reaction with the kid who had a bad experience with death. I just now realized something so hoopa was released last year for Pokémon unite along with duraldon a galar Pokémon and hoopa being a kalos Pokémon but I believe this is a pattern cause the next Pokémon joining is zacian right? So then if goodra is confirmed then there’s a pattern between Pokémon unite and Pokémon day anniversary releases meaning maybe next year if Pokémon unite is still alive at that time they might release zygarde or xerneas or yvetal or something and then hattrene or grimmsnarl idk fully just speculating

it's a shame that baby pokemon aren't in the game. i really feel like some pokemon (LUCARIO AND MIME) could really use them so that they stop being so oppressive in the early game. they could evolve starting at lvl 4 or whatever but i feel like it'd be a cool implementation without needing to nerf the evolved pkm

Galvantula would be better than sellout overexposed Pikachu >:) . I love Bewear's design, but I cant imagine an interesting moveset/playstyle. It has a pretty generic movepool. With how many All-Rounders we already have (I assume Bewear would be an All-Rounder) I couldn't justify giving another spot to a Pokemon that doesn't seem exciting. I DO NOT WANT ANOTHER FROG.

To greninja? How? Greninja’s moves are focused around its water typing-I don’t see how toxic rock would play the same. He’d just be another melee type mon most likely. The over time thing the other guy mentioned could be possible since he is poison type as well as fighting.

Are these all the beta farm mons that we got to see? I believe Altaria was there as well, and then it actually came to the game as farm. My guess is they left them out in case they want to make them playable, since all these three are really cool. Croagunk was playable in Pokken and they seem to be bringing ALL mons from Pokken to unite and had it a big role in the animeas well. I dont think they intend it for farm. Same with team Rockets Bewear. And Galvantula is just awesome. Shame for people afraid of spiders tho
