Still, as there probably will be several unexperienced riders watching Kristians travelvlogs, I feel I have to inform a few facts: Driving without a protection jacket and falling off the bike in 30km/h will scratch the skin off your body. In 80km/h it will also remove the flesh from your bones. Trust me, I've experienced the first, and seen the the second. Further more; in France it is prohibited to drive without CE-approved mc-gloves. The fines are severe if the police catches you Many still do, and feel free to choose, but know what you are risking.
