Geoff, why do you bridge your optic? Wouldn't a scope mount that was affixed to the upper receiver only, be more accurate? Especially with the amount of stands you're making and traveling across rough country. I mean, obviously accuracy isn't an issue for your but I've never seen anyone mount their optics bridged over the upper and handguard.

I get that a lot but it's just the way the mount layed out with my scope and running the 45 degree pic mount with the red dot. My rifle shoots sub 1/2" groups and never needs re-sighted in so maybe that's just an old wives tale or maybe it only happens if you use lower end ARs that don't fit tight!

@@GeoffNemnich maybe there is something to the RIS3 mounting system. If it ain't broke don't fix it. The amount of runners you drop is jaw dropping and something I look up to.

Hi there Greg and Rick I'm looking at doing some shotgun hunting for coyotes and I'm using a browning bps 12.ga with a improved modified choke tube long range and ive pattern it out to 80 yards away with 00 buck 9 pellet and done well with it but I'm just wondering if you have any tips for me for on size shot for shotguns for coyotes and is it worth it to have a tube extension for my shotgun for coyote hunting also

I personally like the Hornady 3" BB...lot more pellets than 00 and holds a tight group out to 35-40 yards! 80 yards is for the rifle!! 😁

I know you guys shoot a lot farther than we do here in Maine because it's wide open there. But what do you 0 your rifle I've had to make a lot of shots out further Then a 100 yd trying to find out what it's you folks use

This may be a stupid question, but, what do you do with the harvested animal? I don't know of anyone eating them. I know this type of hunting is helpful to preserving the deer and antelope populations. I have tried this type of hunting and have not had any sucess yet, but once I do, then what?

I believe they just harvest the fur and sell it. Not much to do with them outside of that. Most people just kill em and leave em

If the fur market is good, we sell the to a fur buyer...if not, they get recycled back into the dirt

Man, I wish you wouldn’t shoot at anything that’s standing above the skyline. That’s not good practice and inexperienced hunters won’t know the difference. I get it if the angle of the shot was different than the camera but that needs to be addressed in my humble opinion. Good hunt fellas. I like watching y’all.
