great reminder for beginners and even for season entrepreneurs to remember it takes time - my first kdp book is averaging 10 sales a day ( published 20 days ago ) and i was getting frustrated that it was not more. We all want anything “now”. We need to slow down do the work and build an digital empire not a one and done. Like you said do it for a year and go all in. My goal is 50-100 books then see where im at. ( no journals or super low content stuff) Empires take time. thx sean for the reminder and thought exercise process to reset our expectations for longer time frames.

@@InMorocco. hello zaine - PT 1: I did one low content book to get the processes down - it was not my intention to promote it but just a tool to learn and it has not made even 1 sale. Next i knew high quality ( high content) was my only path for me as i was not willing to bang out hundreds of low content books hoping and praying one would take off. I want to do things that are painful for others. Because im willing to go beyond others breaking pain points. So i started with one high content book. Doing the math i quickly realized that one book would not be enough for my goals and timeline to achieve them. So i initiated 8 more books simultaneously. To be honest a little overwhelming managing. So far i have 1 book published 30 days ago and 2nd one published few days ago and 3 rd going to be published in a few days. My first book did around 350-400 paperback sales in first month (im guessing holidays and seo boost ) Its dropped in rankings big time and sales slowed to only 4 yesterday . My goal is 20 books all doing minimum of $500 net profit a month. Ive use a strategy I came up with over ten years ago called 10-1-10 that I think will be very useful for me to apply to KDP as a beginner to Digital publishing. It goes like this.... continued

@@InMorocco. PT 2 I used to do things that I personally thought would sell or I was interested and usually I was wrong and inly discovering this after lots of work. So now I apply 10-1-10 in tandem to lots keyword research to at least try to pick selling topics. I pick 10 unique topics and and produce content for all 10 knowing that usually 1 will show itself as a ultra profitable winner over the others. Once 1 is obvious you move to the next phase scaling that topic 10x and become the expert in that niche and creating content for every micro niche around the main topic. Once you scaled 10x start all over with 10-1-10 from the beginning again do this until you have 3 separate niche pillars of passive income. This is just my strategy that have served me well in other businesses and im attempting to apply it to kdp.

PT 3 Seans coarse has helped me leap frog and save hundreds of hours learning the basics and advanced techniques that would have been very painful over the coarse of months and possibly years now i can focus on following his process and adapting my own unique approach. I think one of my greatest failures in life and business was the miss conception that I had to do and learn it all myself and be everything. Its lonely and exhausting. Paying for information is one of the greatest lessons ive learned as well as support and interaction from like minded communities. Hope this helps someone. You can do anything if you just do it and find someone you can following along in there footsteps so you don’t have learn the same failures over and over that someone has already figured out. @@SeanDollwet I don't dw, the boot was intended to be a game. I couldn't finished the game (comp broke and lost most the work) so I decided to write it as a book to have at least something to show for my effort. Now I plan to complete the game again and got me looking into the book again :)
