Right out the door I must say that less than 4 minutes in I appreciate your honesty about the moissanite versus a real diamond. This is a VERY good review. I love ovals and am getting a 3 carat oval diamond that is currently being set. I can’t wait to get it. Thank you for the honest and wonderful review .

Thank you for this! I was just ripped apart because I like Moissanite better than diamonds. I immediately KZbind it and this was the first video that came up. I just want an emerald cut hidden halo solitaire with a platinum band. I’m trying to see if I’m the only one who likes Moissanite better. A friend just tried to humiliate me. Thank you for this!!

Moissanite is by far the most beautiful stone after diamond! And your ring idea sounds awesome. As long as you enjoy your ring, doesn’t matter what the haters say even if they’re your own friends :)

I love emeralds and moissanite. Both are better than diamond, in my opinion.

@@mariakristinahawl1640 I love emeralds too! That would have been my alternate choice for engagement ring

I really love this video. It was one of the most helpful and informed videos on moissanite I’ve come across. Thanks for taking the time to make it and I hope you’ll make more videos It’s a beautiful ring and you inspired me to buy one (I went with 2 carat on your advice as I wear a smaller ring size too). I love it and it’s so fun to wear!

Very happy to hear you’re enjoying your ring! I’ve actually switched channels but maybe I’ll do some jewelry videos on the other one :)

Thank you for this review! I originally wanted the morganite a few years ago, but now I’ve kind of switched over to the moissanite look. Never been a big fan of diamonds because of blood diamonds (which is before I knew about lab grown diamonds) So it’s not a big deal to me.

Hi there, thanks for your comment! Morganites are beautiful! I ultimately decided on Moissanite because it looks more like a diamond than the other alternatives (besides a lab diamond). Can’t go wrong with any of them!

I saw your response to an earlier comment. May I ask how you knew you were buying from a reputable seller? The rings I see only have a couple of reviews. My fiancé is worried that he will purchase a ring from someone who doesn’t put actual Moissanite in the ring. Basically he is hesitant to buy off Etsy but I found a ring that I love and to my surprise, isn’t the simple ring that I always thought I wanted. I wish Jewelry stores sold Moissanite.

My seller gave me a certificate for the moissanite. It’s really difficult to verify legitimate sellers on Etsy as many are likely hobbyists. I would ask the seller if they offer moissanite certificates and look at all of their customer reviews.

Forgot to add - some local jewelry stores do offer moissanite, more are getting on the bandwagon :)

This is beautiful, but the setting does seem off centered. Did it come this way or was it from use? I appreciate your input about the ring. Your voice is very soothing, by the way😂

Hi, I think it appears off center because it’s loose on my finger. I think the workmanship on the ring was good overall but unfortunately I don’t really wear it anymore.

@@finejewelryreviews Can I ask why you don't wear it anymore given how much was spent on it. Just curious if you don't wear it anymore because of the imperfections?

@@MissMadelineMM94 hi, mostly because it’s bulky and sits very high. It’s not conducive to an active lifestyle with family, chores, etc. Something to keep in mind if you are shopping for a ring!

Major respect man you really told the truth that moissanite looks very different than diamond in all ways not just the material itself (lab-made moiss is not a stone cause dictionary defines that they naturally come from the earth not made in a lab) but the shine it gives off. If a moissanite person speaks like that I would want to be their friend and all respect to them!!! Even being a diamond snob myself, that is pure class. Now, if you’re the type of person who tries playing it off as a diamond when it’s literally CLEAR AS DAY that it’s not, and then you get butthurt about being confronted about it, who would want to be friends with that type of person…

I agree that no alternative should be passed off as a diamond - just be proud of what you have and own it!

I really disliked their prongs so I went with the true gem. Aren't you upset that your basket is crooked, I'd have lost my mind at 1:34 it's really noticeable. That setting is done so sloppily and I'd make them remake it

Hi there! After having worn the ring for a few years now, I think I actually prefer claw prongs. I’m a fan of TTG rings as well! Thanks for your feedback :)
