All the amazing dancing aside, I appreciate how articulate Wren was with his feedback of Julian and Melvin's pieces. One of the best choreographers out right now but still remains a fan of his peers and just dance itself, and that's fcking dope.

Agree with the over stimulation. I think it show cases the dancer's performace level in crowds, but the lights/cheering etc. takes more than adds to the choreo/over all appreciation of the dancer's performance. Thank you steezy for bringing back this monsterous line up!! These were literally my favs on their past 3c1s❤

Wren danced and hit every beat. Like EVERY. He was not there to have fun, he wanted to devour and the insane musicality??! Specially the finger cutting part? So clean like his hand actually turned into a knife duddde crazy Julian was pretty chill with sudden movements in between which added an effect of suprise element. Like you won't see them coming. At the same time he knew what he was doing. Smooth. Melvin has this characteristic where he puts his signature "chill walking" moves in between and then continues with something so complex which is hard to register. His wordplay is so out of the box. Like how do you even come up with those moves?

💜 You can’t go wrong with Wren ♥️ You can tell that he really has a special connection with music. In college he studied dance way beyond what most dancers and choreographer. Melvin always does something unique and is spot on with his choreo as well. Wren and Melvin always represent that raw uniqueness that can only be found in the Bay! Julian is amazing. Someone mention he elevated his style since getting with the Jabbawokees, however I disagree. Jabba wanted him because of his elevated style ❤️.

I'm glad this series is back, but I think the format of the previous videos worked better. I really enjoyed getting to learn more about the dancers' style and what went into the piece. I also thought the reactions from the other dancers were much more nuanced and insightful. I felt like I learned a lot from the previous format of these videos.

@@eleasewillis1770 same i’m a big fan of steezy and their song picks, but it’s likely the sponsorship gave them little to no choice. i follow all 3 of the choreographers and idk if they would ever choreograph to a song like this. this series has consistently picked songs that i could see the 3 dancers choreographing to and i felt they missed this one time. still love steezy tho :)

Interesting new format! I would suggest letting the 2 choreographers hang out together during the reaction/feedback section (after 1 choreographer performs) so that the 2 can riff off of each other, esp if they're friends. Even them hanging out together during the watching can create more of a buddy/hype atmosphere. It'll allow them to show more reactions like they did at the end instead of having them face off with straight faces like a battle cypher.

As much I love all of the aesthetics with the nice cars, and neon lights, and different camera angles. I must say that too much of it takes away from the performance itself. I find that noticing the sharp movements, the wordplay, or the small (but meaningful) details are much harder to catch with all these add-ons.
