Beauty weather and the longer day-light made for a real nice camp. And not hurrying preparations with resources is a wise practice. The beaver pond looked great and maybe holds fish?

Hey brother another nice video. Hello from Thunder Bay,Ontario Canada, where it is snowing once again. Coconut butter is your friend for any meal, it can thaw, and solidify and wont go bad, cook with it and enjoy. You can get with no coconut flavor as well, but the butter is great, i use iy on my many canoe trips here in the North. Cheers man...Fred

I enjoyed your video. Sorry but I don't make any videos when I get out. I do total primitive survival I don't carry food or anything. I take my knife that I made from a leaf spring. It's about 10'' long and my home made Hatchet. The longest time I spent out was 29 days in the Florida Everglades,,, keep up the good work and yes I did subscribe to your channel. Hi again; I have successfully sharpened "bow-saw" blades in the past, lack of adequate set is often an issue, but blades are inconsistent in temper and some aren't worth the trouble. Not enough set, the saw will bind in the cut. Too much,, you cut slow and waste energy, get a ragged cut. If you try to sharpen, use a fine, sharp file and clamp the blade in a vise. Lots of ways to adjust set, but you would need to do some "homework". Looks like the cod came out perfect. Hard to beat smoked fish. Owls have quite a variety of sounds; can even quack like a duck...lol. Thanks again for the fun video. Keep up the good work and be careful!
@EscapeAdventures5 жыл бұрын
Hey Frank, thanks for the insight on sharpening. I wanted to try and sharpen my blade but don't have any files. Anyway, i hear owls making all kinds of crazy noises. Very awesome experience when your out in the woods and hear all the different sounds of wildlife. Thanks for the comment and feedback :) Glad you liked the video!

Escape Adventures I remember back in my partying days I went salmon fishing with a bunch of my Navy buddies. Anyways I passed out in my tent without even getting in my sleeping bag. I have no idea how long I was out but I can still remember waking with my teeth chattering and my body was in a violent shaking almost like a seizure! If my friend wasn’t in a heated camper about 500 feet away I don’t think I would of made it! Thank God I woke up when I did. I remember it was MAY in Northern Maine on Little Sebago Lake. Woke up to snow on the ground... What a horrible experience!!!

I’ve been watching you a little while & I can tell you’re kind of new to this. I enjoy your videos but please watch some of the veteran bushcrafters like Carlisle195 & Joe Robinet. They don’t tell us every little thing they are going to do or do a lot of talking sometimes. They are always improving & building on their shelters no matter the weather or time of day. Besides getting a good fire going for warmth, your shelter should be as dry, warm & comfortable as possible. Be confident in your choices & in your yourself more to just get in there & do all you need to stay safe but have fun. Keep it up!!!!! Oh love the new shelter but close up all spaces for warmth, dryness & safety!!!!! Carry on!!!!!
