Rouen is also worth so much more than it gets from the usual tours which see the famous clock, Joan of Arc execution site and the cathedral. At least three days to see the other important churches and to sample the restaurants. And then of course Bayeux and Caen. This comment is not a criticism of your great vid, but intended to augment in the event someone is doing a little travel research. N.B. Your videos are a source for me when visiting France, and I have been going there since the 1970s.d Please keep posting and enjoying life.

The best advice I can give people is to pay for the extra insurance if renting a car. Many will read horror stories concerning rental companies charging crazy amounts of money for minor scratches weeks later after returning the car. In most cases, the people leaving the reviews skipped the extra insurance. It might cost 10 or 20 euros extra a day but is worth the peace of mind.

Love Honfleur. Deauville is lovely, but Trouville is just as nice and more affordable. We stayed at a hotel on the beach in Trouville for about $120 euros a night. Beautiful room. Plus, the hotel had an indoor and outdoor pool. From Trouville, you can walk to Deauville in under 10 minutes and also take a 30 minute bus ride to Honfleur. We had the best time. I'm visiting France soon and I was wondering, is it possible to visit Omaha beach and Mont St. Michel in the same day? I might be trying to cram too much into my schedule...
@jean-claudemuller31996 ай бұрын
I don't think so ! Mont Saint Michel is on the far west of Normandy, you have to leave the car on huge parking lots, it's very crowded, after what you have to take a shuttle bus and depending on when you go you have to schedule it depending on the tide that can, from time to time. separate the Mont from the mainland. Visiting the Abbey starts on the top of the rock with a steep walk to it All this take time, at least a whole day.
