I'm from Brazil, I've already visited several others US national parks and this is the second time I’m visiting Yellowstone. I watched your great videos and I considered the best about this theme. You have a marvelous family and I wish the best for you all. Thanks again.

Hey guy's! We are spending the winter down South and are missing Montana and Yellowstone so this video is well timed. Fortunately we will be back soon.

Yellowstone is awesome. As far as food, we liked the Fountain and Grill at Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone and the Old faithful Lodge was fine. We stayed at West Yellowstone, and later, the Yellowstone Lake Hotel where we ate breakfast and dinner. Meals were good but expensive.

We spend a lot of time in Yellowstone. We buy the yearly pass and we do three vacations every single summer two of which are 10 days plus long and I have yet to find one place that serves quality food. I have not been to this location on your video but that chicken did look delicious and I'm going to give that a try this June. All of the other food in Yellowstone is terrible except this, this looks like the one hidden gem I've been looking for

Many thanks for the tips on going to Yellowstone. We are going there on May. I"d like do ask your opinion about the best shop to buy jackets, boots e othes things for hiking. Cheers
@WereintheRockies
@WereintheRockies 2 ай бұрын
Thanks for watching! As for the best shop, not sure which one is the "best" but West Yellowstone has a lot of shops that should have what you need. I would not buy hiking boots while on your trip though, buy those in advance and break them in before your trip. That being said, unless you plan on doing back country hiking, most the walking you will do will be on paved trails, board walks, or well groomed dirt. You shouldn't need "hiking shoes". Have a great time.

More fun. Funner isn’t a word. In 1982 my husband, my sister in law and I ride our bicycles through Yellowstone Park. It was amazing. We only live 5 hours away so we go to Yellowstone every year. We were there during the fires before the park was closed. You have a very nice video of you visit. Thank you.

We didn't visit in 2022 as we arrived just as the park shut down because of the flooding. So instead we visited friends in Green River, Wyoming.

We’re excited to travel to Yellowstone this summer. Your videos are great! Quick question, is Hayden Valley ok replacement for Lamar Valley? We just want to see the famous bison. Staying in West Yellowstone so wondering if it makes sense to safe some time. What are the big differences for these valleys?
@WereintheRockies
@WereintheRockies Ай бұрын
Hayden Valley is a great place to see wildlife. More than likely, you will see bison in other areas of the park as well. Lamar Valley is a long drive from West Yellowstone, I understand your hesitancy to drive there. Here's some articles we've written that may give you some insight: wereintherockies.com/yellowstone-binoculars/ wereintherockies.com/hayden-valley/

@@WereintheRockies BTW, it would be great if you offered audiobooks about various parks without the itinerary. I’m one of those weird people who love doing the research before our trips and creating my own itineraries, but would love to listen to stories about the history of the area during some of the longer drives.

Did you have to book your campsite a year in advance? Actually the place didn’t look crazy busy for June.
@WereintheRockies
@WereintheRockies 2 ай бұрын
Most campsites in Yellowstone can be booked 13 months in advance and they can fill up quickly.

Hey guys. Is it true that campsites there don't have electricity or water ?. I'm thinking about camping there this summer
@WereintheRockies
@WereintheRockies 2 ай бұрын
Correct. Most don't have electricity or water hookups. However, they do have water spigots. Each campsite is a little different though, make sure to read the details about them so you know what you're getting.
