Thanks Jon for a Really nice Film! I was there in 2001 Filmimg at Bonduran for a Perfect day. I had been in Portugal filming at Jardin Do Mar Epic Big Wave then Scouted the Forecasts manually for a week before identifying a Perfect day at Bonduran! I filmed Gabe Davies and Richie going off for 8 hours.

This place has so many features in common with a wave we have down here in South Australia that its uncanny. The wave is identical but not as big, and the cliff features are also uncannily similar. Its tripping me out

Every time I see the landscape and water moving or still in Ireland i appreciate the pagan's who came before Christianity, they deserve credit too. So frustrating to see nobody doing any nice carves or re entries, or big turns, in fact most just went straight or tried to catch a barrel but unless you are deep and take off behind the peak that doesn't happen either. Word of advice on the video, the footage is great the music is way too loud and repetitive, try turning it down some.
