I am 65 years old and started surfing at age 18 and I have watched SO many surf movies, videos, and edits over the years, and THIS was by far the coolest video I've ever watched - huge BRAVO ! I came very close to dying from bladder cancer in 2016 and just don't have the juice to surf anymore which is a giant bummer. But I have several vlogs like this and the WSL (with all of its warts and issues), to keep me stoked and engaged in surf culture. And that is enough to keep me happy and hoping that one day, when I don't have to expend so much energy making a living, I can get back in the water and catch a few. THANK YOU ! And on a final note: because I do follow the WSL, I have become a huge fan of the new wave of young ladies like Caity, that have in maybe 2 years time so drastically pushed the boundaries of women's surfing. Caity's performance here was just astounding and such a pleasure to see ! Keep it rolling girls ! And please never stop this series - so, so good !

I have surfed and watched surf movies since seeing Big Wednesday as a teenager in Sunny Northern Ireland. This is the most emotional video I have ever experienced, culminating in Caity’s barrel towards the end. It is reminiscent of Laird Hamilton’s millennial wave at Teahupoo in 2000, it may have been a left and an order of magnitude larger, but the scene, the water, the colour, the beauty, the majesty of the wave and nature were all faintly familiar. I have watched it 20ish times and my spine tingles and the goose bumps come every time Caitlin crushes that barrel, she has a style like nothing I have ever seen, so direct and energetic. The music adds a mystical character and everything combines for a synergy of the senses that has left me speechless. As I said to my wife last night after showing her the clip, I might as well give up watching surf videos for I will never see anything as beautiful in surf. ever again. Thank you for all involved in the production.

Hands down the best series i have ever seen! Two of the surfers ended up getting the waves of their lives, which i find easy to believe. Caity sleeping on the beach, head on the board and an open jar of pb - pure gold. That wave she got was absolute perfection.All the emotions going on from day 1...this is what surfing really is about. Caity said it - that's better than winning a contest. I've been salivating on every episode of this series. Waiting waiting waiting for the next one. Reviewing previous ones, reviewing amazing waves ridden by excellent threaders and shredders. This one is so next level! Caity's performance was amazing! Never really been a fan of woman's surfing but this kid kept up with the boy's! The real star was the waves though, my god! To me it's like olden days Kirra but even more perfect due to the zero beach erosion because there is no buildings to mess with the waves natural movements!! Maps is always a gas to watch. But this one was beyond amazing. You kids murdered it!!! Reminds me of "The Corner" on a little Island I flew to hundreds of times -decades ago. No way on God's earth I could ever attempt waves like that anymore. But there was a time. A time with area maps across my garage wall - listening to Fort Collins on the shortwave - sleeping under the wing and taking scalps with a few friends and nobody out.

I count that wave of Caity's as a 24 second barrel. Un-effing-real. Hoping she wins the World Title this year, The new crop of young women surfers is just incredible! I guess I’m an emotional sort but this brought tears to my eyes and a lump to my throat. I’ve never seen better in a lifetime of surfing. Caitlin in particular blew my mind! We’ve all surfed waves as well as that in our wildest dreams, but that’s reality right there!
