My first solo trip was also to Berlin just last October. To do that was probably the best decision I made this year. Amazing experience. It gives me joy to see how well Berlin treated you, even though I literally only just discovered your channel haha. Love this for you 😊

I’m DESPERATE to go to Berlin! I’ve been to Germany once, in about 2011 and I remember going to Munich and Dresden, and a few other smaller towns around the area. It was beautiful! I think Germany has so many gorgeous places to see. Also, solo travel- we love to see it! I think solo travel is one of the best experiences, and there’s nothing quite like it!

Berlin is great, I'm hoping to go to the Festival of Lights in October 2022. I feel very safe on my own wandering the streets, obviously there are areas you have to avoid. You can book a tour of the Reichstag Building and go to the dome on top for great views across the city. If you have time, a day trip to Potsdam is worthwhile if you like old buildings and history, hoping to do this also next month. I have a cousin who was serving in the army in Berlin when the wall came down, that must have been an amazing experience

Well, she's in Germany so obviously, she's going to experience and share German history. That's like me travelling to South Africa and then someone asking why I didn't show something British... sounds a bit silly doesn't it.
@TWOCOWS12 жыл бұрын
@@alwaysbefifi I would be the one asking you that question. The reasons are clear: why you as a Brit know much of substance about South Africa, its people and cultural nuances? You would be a natural to tell us about York and Hastings, not Durban and Sun City.
