Spend 48 hours in the vibrant and creative city of Berlin, Germany with me 🥰
On my recent solo trip to Berlin, I had one mission: enjoy it as much as I would the perfect sunny weekend at home. No pressure to tick off lists or book things to do, just a bunch of pins on my Google Maps and seeing where the day would take me.
From exploring Berlin’s artistic neighbourhoods to eating my way through the city’s best bakeries, cafes and riverside beer spots, there’s no shortage of European summer vibes in this city.
I’ll also catch you up on a few Berlin activities I did earlier in the week with GetYourGuide: a boat tour along the river Spree, a brunch experience and an immersive art exhibition.

Beautiful Berlin 😍 although most European countries are also English speaking, how do you navigate your way around the areas where English isn’t practiced? Do you try and learn some common phrases before travelling to these countries? Your demeanour is so enjoyable and calming 😌✨

Oh thank you 💖🥰 Yes I always try learn the common ones but like you say, at least in the cities most people speak English! And the few more rural places I’ve been the basic phrases have been enough ☺️

Do you have a method for finding good spots/activities? Or is it just like TikTok / googling? I’m not the best at holiday planning so curious!

I start with IG/TikTok/KZbin for activity and food recs, but wherever possible I try to get recs directly from people who have visited or lived in the destination ☺️ Also from people I meet when visiting! I always find that personal recommendations give me the best memories 💖
