Please share your tips! Airport taxi was just a little bit more expensive than Grab. Would surprise me if they would go below the Grab price. But if you know how please share, we'll do it like that next time.

Hi that's great to hear! Kata Beach is for sure good for couples. Also depends on your interests of course. For the nightlife you better stay in Patong. Otherwise Kata is a good option. And it's also not quiet in the evening. Lots of places to have a bite or a drink. We took a regular airport taxi on the spot. With a bit of negotiating we got the price down to about the same as the Grab prices. Also the Grab pick-up point is outside of the airport and it wasn't really clear to us where it was. Hope this helps!

We combined Wat Chalong and Phuket Old Town. It's on the way from Kata!

Would you recommend staying in a hotel near Phuket Old Town with small kids? Kata Beach seems really nice but too far from the centre maybe?

Hi! We would say Phuket Old Town in more for a day trip. So would recommend to stay more at the coast. For us Kata was great. Bit touristy but had everything we wanted within walking distance. Have fun on your trip!
