👍🏻Absolutely worth it! The two foxes together a 3:35 certainly paid off 🦊🦊 Thanks for sharing your experience 🤗

Jimmy it must be a thrill to have the foxes so close to your camp. And how cool is it to have one curl up near your solar panels. They obviously got used to you. If you have a favourite spot like this one you should try and get back to it at least once a year, even though you may have other projects. Going back to a favourite place just gives you more vigour and excitement for the natural world. It works for me. See you out there!

Thanks so much for your kind words and feedback! I'd love to get back annually, my problem is that every place becomes one of my favorites eventually 😆 It's hard to get to all of them!

Another outstanding video Jimmy, the video footage and images of the Foxes is incredible. One thing we don't have any control of as wildlife photographers is the weather, you made the best of it and did a great job and found ways to enjoy everything the area offers. Thanks for sharing your trip and have a great week.

Thanks so much, Keith! Weather really can make things difficult, especially when you travel so far and only have a limited time in an area. That being said, I am so grateful that things worked out how they did and for the wonderful opportunities I had to photograph these beautiful little Foxes! Have a great week my friend!

They look so good and healthy! Thanks for sharing these amazing creatures with us! Love that photo at the end of the younger fox almost blending into that big old tree, I think it is my favorite of this episode! Well, time to get ready to drag the husband and kiddo out for a short hike and some forest photography (I hope). Have a great week!

Thanks so much Julie! They were a complete joy to see and spend time with! That was my favorite photo and encounter as well. I hope your own Fox adventures are going well! Happy shooting out there 😊

@@JimmyBreitenstein I still have not seen them but my son saw something in one of the holes and thought it was a snake. We ran away of course. The hole had been dug out more from the last time I took a peek. After talking to him and watching more videos on foxes it may have been a small fox head or nose. I am concerned though as the suspected den is right next to the road. I have a video on tracks coming out in two weeks. I would love your feedback on it as I am no expert. Thanks!

@@JimmyBreitenstein Well, I picked up a trail cam and set it up facing what I originally thought was a ground hog burrow but then after seeing many videos thought it could possibly be fox. Well, my original guess was right although a neighbor did see a fox in the yard last summer though. Their poop does look similar and both musk, but I do feel a bit stupid now. Though the logs of poop did leave me a bit doubtful with the amount of seedy material in it. I guess I will set up it in different areas of the pond now to see what else is out there now I know for sure it is a Ground hog burrow and not a fox den.

@@naturallyadriftphotoadvent123 That's awesome that you're experimenting and learning as you go! That's what we do and all those experiences compound and teach us until it all becomes natural and second nature! I can't wait to see what you end up getting this spring!

Hi Jimmy, I always enjoy your videos from this location. Those foxes are so unique. 🦊 Looks like one curled up next to your power bank. If I was more free to travel at the moment, I would put this high on the list. There is a unique endemic species of scrub jay out there too right? And the landscape potential looks good. Bummer about the high winds, I am sure listening to the tent flapping didn't help catch up on sleep. Great stuff as always!

Thanks so much, John! Yeah, it really is an amazing place and the Scrub Jays are a lot of fun to see as well. You have such a great eye when it comes to landscapes, you'd be able to do a lot with the area. I hope you can make it out there down the road!

Fabolous video! Sorry for the wind but such is nature's way. I feel kind of envious of the US having so many different species of fox while there is just one in my country, Estonia. Thanks for taking us along. Thanks for teaching about them - this is a very interesting species indeed.
@JimmyBreitenstein7 ай бұрын
Thank you very much, Ott! We are quite lucky to have the diversity in species that we do. Honestly I attribute much of that to the size of the country. Many of the species live so far from the others that if the country was smaller or split up, we wouldn't have as much diversity as we do. Nonetheless, we have some amazing animals and I feel extremely fortunate. Happy shooting my friend, have a wonderful week!

One of the few locations left here, where I can still photograph the foxes that hasn't become overrun with photographers.
