I hear ya but at the same time I hope if there is anything it's nothing major and no more than just a two minute trailer and the next bit of news we get is in November and that's it until Pokémon day next year where we again don't get too much. We don't want them to feel pressured into showing stuff that's not REALLY ready. So that means from now until February next year no actual gameplay, no new game me mechanics, and no plot details or important character reveals relevant to the plot except for the main protagonist (aka the player), the professor, the Rival, and maybe AZ or his Eternal Flower Floétte just being BRIEFLY shown and confirmed to be in the game. Nothing else in terms of characters. They should show off the region with some starting locations, no more then two quality of life improvements, and confirm the choice of Starter Pokémon for this Legends Game and ONE new Mega Evolution along with some returning ones from both X and Y AND Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. By which I mean Mega Lucario, The Kanto Starter Megas, the Hoenn Starter Megas, Mega Glalie, Mega Steelix, and the one new Mega Evolution that everyone including GameFreak themselves is rightfully so eager and still wanting to be made real and revealed. That of course is Mega Flygon. And if not, I will GLADLY take a close up shot and battle animation on for the player character using their Keystone as they send a Flygon out and it starts to Mega Evolve but then the video immediately ends and cuts away with the only other but of info we get is a blurry silhouette as the screen fades to black and we just finally have the Box Art revealed. That's it, over the course of now and once more in the end of November. We don't need anything else. If they split this up between two trailers with one now in August and the other around November 20th, then we are good to go. I have now joined the crowd that believes we should not get game trailers at least with real gameplay or a specific release date until 6 weeks before the game is actually launched. That way it doesn't get anyone's hopes up too much, it doesn't reveal too much so that it spoils the game, and what we see ready in the gameplay is what we should expect to get.

Fun fact: nothing the Pokémon company or gf does is acceptable to fans. Literally nothing. When these gifts were Japan or location exclusives it was cry about not getting them. Now we can get them so we cry about getting them. Only in Pokémon.

What's the point of it having Sleep Talk and Fire Tera Typing when it doesn't have Rest and will only be able to use a Fire Type attack with Tera Blast?

I'm assuming his opponent was running sleep moves and the Tera fire was for steel types. True most of the time you only run sleep talk with rest, but thinking about it, in comparison to all of sylveons other moves, the ability to surprise your opponent with Stab fairy hyper beam or hyper voice, when they thought you would be asleep and defenseless is huge. They are a world champ so obviously they had a good reason.

But was the type that if I progressed at a faster rate than her she’d crash out and I would have to play for her until she was where I was as far as game progression.
