You have no idea how happy I am to be able to watch your family again. I wish your Dad was on here, but I actually found his channel and from there I found you. You have some real skill as a cameraman along with everything else. Keep posting and I will keep watching the ads. I wish I could do more, but I am broke.

This may be my favorite video of all time! Too bad KZbin doesn't have some kind of award system in place because you deserve an award for this one.
@ERone434 ай бұрын
This was a GREAT video! Its so nice to see Kilcher action in a more linear format- without all the “recaps” that the show used to have. It used to feel like you were watching 20 minutes of content spread out over an hour. That didn’t stop me from watching every episode 5 times each (at least). But yeah this new KZbin format is ideal for your exploits. I think its time for you to upgrade to some of those super kool dji microphones or the like. As a former youtuber I know how much effort it takes to record as complete of a documentary as you do, so THANK YOU for all the hard work you put in. The reason why yall Kilchers make such great TV/Video/YT is because everyone enjoys watching nice genuine sincere people doing kool Alaska stuff. If nasty modern reality TV is the disease then you guys are the cure. Its also great to see your kids growing up (fast) with so much love and enrichment. Anyhow THANKS again for a very kool video! L&R from N.California ♥️🇺🇸♥️🌎

Holy moly that was wild!!! What did I do today? Just some yard weeding. What did you do today? Flew into mountains with a glacier, hiked thousands of feet up a mountain, killed a bear, slid down some gnarly snow with life ending crevasses, went white water rafting, and paddled out in the ocean. No biggie! How did your hands not get cut up on that packed snow and not freeze out in that river. You certainly know how to live in the edge. Good on ya! ❤

“Life…something gets consumed for something else to survive”. Never a truer statement. No matter if you are vegan or not. You are consuming something else that is living to survive. Such is the circle of life. I love that comment. Glad you had a safe successful trip. I imagine you enjoy doing this better than the show. YOU control the content & what is & isn’t used. No scripting here. Not sure how much of the show was. But I enjoy this so much better. It’s genuine & from the heart. ❤. Thanks for taking us along.

Wow! It's been a while since we've had the privilege to visit with our favorite Alaskan family! We can't believe how the children have grown! Sparrow is a minami of Eve, and just as passionate with the homestead gardening! And seeing Finley in the bobcat just makes sense. You must r so proud. It makes me wish I could turn the clock back to 1978, the year I graduated, and the year I turned down a job on the Alaskan pipeline, and chose a different path, starting with service in the military, and later, a career in law enforcement. Now I can continue to enjoy your family and your homestead life, if only through your videos. I know how difficult self-filming is! Eivin Please don't get yourself hurt for the sake of that footage! We love you guys!

I’m 55 years old, born and raised in the Oregon Pacific Northwest. When I was a kid in the 70s I wanted to be an Alaska mountain man/trapper. All the books I read were about living off the land, hunting, trapping. Just living that log cabin life. 🪵 Subscriptions to Outdoor Life and Field & Stream just fueled my dreams. I wanted to say that you and your family are so fun to watch. First off you are living my dream which is so fun to watch. Secondly is that it looks like you know and appreciate that it’s special. I dig that. 🙂. Also love the KZbin channel. 👍👍
