Hallo Bharat!

With regards to Duolingo Bharat, the nice thing about the streak is that in order to save it every day, you need to spend at least 5 mins each day on it. It may not be much but it reinvigorates your motivation to learn the language. Besides, 5 × 365 mins will mean a lot if somebody holds up their streak. Also, it's possible to learn German with your full time job that way. In my case, I completed the Duolingo tree before attempting A1 and A2 and passed each comfortably with 89% and 79% respectively.
@BharatinGermany2 жыл бұрын
I understand Ibtejah but this is really personal. 5x365 doesn’t exactly equate to the same amount of progress if you’d do it intensively and that’s why also the intensive courses mostly are more effective and popular than Duolingo. Congratulations on your score. I still strongly believe that Duolingo is no longer the platform focused completely on value addition but more on gamification and increasing used time on the app.

Hi Bharat ! Very true statements indeed. For B2 speaking , I write down different bullet points and when actual time comes , I find 3 minutes time too short to cover my presentation and then I try to hurry and everything gets messed up. 😅😅😅😅😅 Still haven't Looked at Testdaf . Planning testdaf after giving B2 .

It’s really about time that people start giving read advices online. Especially the “German teachers” who teach it as their third language.

Hey Bharat, i noticed you got a 3/5 in writing in the testdaf . All universities require 4x4 in the testdaf . When you applied to the university, did you use these testdaf scores or did you take the test again?
@BharatinGermany2 жыл бұрын
Hi Aayan, Not every university needs that. TUHH needs a total of 16 points, doesn’t matter in which section 5s and in which 3s. But you’re right, the number of choices would’ve been limited if I wanted to apply outside TUHH.

Hi, I am 34 years old and have studied BA business management in london. I was born in Germany but left the country and visited on and off over the years. At the moment I am based in UK but would like to settle back near my parents in Frankfurt. In UK I work as a medical secretary which in Germany requires fluent German and not great salary. I have thought to start a second degree in industrial engineering in Frankfurt which may open a way for me to get a job in engineering field after. What are your thoughts on it? By the time I finish the degree I will be around 38 years. Not sure if they employ people as graduates at that age, can you maybe please talk about this in one of your video? Will really appreciate it
