I can’t even tell you how helpful this was for me. I might actually try this for a back ground. You crack me up “ I picked this pencil well…. Because the tip was sharp” 😂😂😂😂 I love it. I need to buy one of those water pens. I have $50.00 gift card to Michael’s so I might need to go shopping this weekend. 😝😝😝

LOL... I know that it's totally random but I have entire pictures completed with a color palette that was designed around the pencil already being sharpened. I like the arteza ones because the fill hole is big enough that I can carefully fill it up with bottled water (that I usually have). Some of my other brands also work fine but the hole is smaller so I have to go to a sink. YAY for gift cards... hopefully you find some amazing things (although, because you're an awesome crafter, I know you'll find some new treasures). TFW my friend!

Love this! I always feel like I'm coloring with whoevers vud I'm watching. Tonight we are both using our neocolors. I'm using mine in our HP "butter" color. These are some great tips.

I love Neocolor 2s! Thanks for reminding me to get em out and giving ideas!! Also im like you, in i will not sit and do those details (between tree) and would rather do a wash and get it done. But I love that you go a step further and use your stuff while it’s already out!!!! BRILLIANT. And not waste. Omg what a GREAT idea!!!! I have never thought of that. Im going to do that. Because yeah…. Not only don’t waste, but I’ve thought about how i got up and prepped/or mixed. Or whatever. And just for one little space sometimes.

Awesome video. I needed this because I don't really know what to do with the neos. I have to play with them more... And you are inspiring me to do so. I am glad I inspired you to get this book. Doodle... to clarify. You mean that the paper doesn't need to be treated for the prismas to work. right? RIGHT??? I mean, I do color alone (and not at the kitchen table, for example) so I guess I could get naked but it just seems wrong. Fab video hun I have a small set of these and definitely need to try to use them more I may try them like straight from the crayon onto the water brush I bought them for backgrounds and tried to mix them together but was a disaster lol but would like to try them out more now I'm more into using water colour mediums 💜💜

Hi Johanna, I have 24 Lyra Aquarelle crayons, I have not used them, I’ve only swatched them. They are very pigmented, but I’m still afraid to use them and mess up a page. I will take them out and have them available, JIC I build up the courage to use them. TFS!

Jenn, I just ordered the silky crayons from Amazon so I'll let you know how they work. I think it was like $15 for 36 vs. the $50 I paid for the 30 Neo2s. TFW!!

I definitely prefer backgrounds mixed on something else and then to paper… also allows for easier color mixes. The back of acrylic stamp blocks makes a great temporary palette

@@JojozaHannaHawaii I use them to stamp, but now I use them as palettes picked up that tip from Catherine Pooler and The Hedgehog Hollow and they’re also great to weight done something after gluing LOL you’ve gotta love multiple use tools!

Try using a water based blender pen, haven’t used one with Neocolors but they work with other watercolor mediums

It seems like a very difficult task to deal with colors. In particular, using a variety of colors seems to be more difficult to harmonize.

Oh very nice. I have cheap water color pencils so they don't come out as nice.

You might want to see if you can scribble some of the pencils on a non-porous surface and then add water. TFW my friend!
