But id start with a few open stock colors to see if you like them, like the non basic colors. Yes they glide on and are so creamy !! You can color more than just backgrounds with them , i love them , so easy on the wrist ! ❤ keep me posted !! Happy coloring my dear

The trick with neocolor II’s is very little water and not letting hard edges form between the colors so you can’t see any lines. 😊

Any 2 hole sharpener. The larger hole fits neocolor. I used Ooly, or Staedler

Hi ! You need a two hole sharpener with like a bigger hole, so i just use those, you can find them anywhere .

Hi hun !! Thats an amazing amount of colors to start with !! I use lots of lighter blues and pastels, also greens and browns as a second choice ! Id say complete the pastel colors you dont get in the 40 set. So excited for you Neos are amazing !
