When I went trick or treating last year, I was walking with 2 friends, I was 17, friends were 16, and 17, but these groups of kids, probably 10ish 4 of them were running saying some guy was chasing was them who they didn’t know, and we saw the guy, keep in mind we’re all football players, kinda big but we tackled him to ground, called the cops and he got arrested, shit was crazy

Remember going into a house for a picture once. I was in a group and we had all worn onesies, mine was a dragon because I’m awesome. But this old lady was so happy we all matched our costumes that she asked us to come inside so her husband could take our picture. As soon as we had done it we all realised how dangerous it could have been. But also it was a sweet old woman and her husband vs all 8 of us. Even though we could have overpowered them it was still stupid of us to walk in.

This happened to my friend and I too but I remember we just stood outside as he took the picture, we were around 14 just like the story. The funny thing is our costumes weren't notable at all. I just wore cat makeup and my friend very vaguely dressed like Where's Waldo. It was a man and we were young girls. We should have said No but we were so caught off guard and said, Umm sure? Ech.

I know a terrible true Halloween horror story. Basically, on the night of, Trick-or-treaters were awed by a particularly realistic prop hanging from the tree. Apparently it took until morning for the neighbors to realize the son opted out. Very terribly dark and really sick he did it that night knowing that the unsuspecting finder would be left forever scarred both by the sight and the season.

I was out trick-or-treating with my friend and two of his friends I was probably 14-15 at the time. It goes about as you'd expect it to, going from house to house and such. Fast forward a few hours it's dark out by now and my buddy suggested hitting up a few more houses before heading home we all agreed seeing as it was a good way to finish off the night. A few houses later we wandered onto a street I was unfamiliar with (my friend knew where he was so I wasn't worried) but the amount of trick-or-treaters has gone down alot but there were still a few. But as we were walking down the sidewalk a man probably in his mid 40's appeared in front of us, clearing winded from walking he asked us if we could "please go to his wife's house and take some candy she went through a lot of effort to set up decorations and no one went up to their house could you please go up to the house" we all collectively agreed, the man thanked us and went on his way. None of us had even the SLIGHTEST intention of going to that house, except for me I wasn't worried I was carrying this 5 foot wooden sword that I had convinced myself I could deal with whatever may be at that house (thinking back, that sword would have done nothing to protect me). Outvoted by the group we keep walking to my friends house where we would wait for his dad to get home so he drive us home. I had never thought much of the experience but this video had got me thinking about it and how strange it was I would like to hear some input from some of you and if anything similar has happened to you.

Love the stories and the narrators voice is admittedly top tier amongst other channels like this but time and time again I find myself going back to a channel that does the machine read stuff, can’t handle the choppy-ish sentences which are a common trope among those who do use legit voiceovers, ya know like the 3 pauses for a single sentence thing. I get it can probably add to the atmosphere for some but my smoothbrain notices each and every pause and finds it super distracting from the story itself.
