Good on you for making metal art more accessible to people without a welder.

Great video Doug, your RR spike handle is something I made for my shop door long ago. Hope things are starting to cool down in AZ! Have a great weekend 👍

I have to say its the humidity that's getting us this year. I love the rain and we need it but that humidity is crazy. Hope you have a great weekend as well!

Just ran across you channel, great stuff! PC-7 another one for you non-welders, like JB Weldon steroids! Everyone out there should eventually have a welder, you'll use it all your life!

When gluing, if you abrade the surface with 40-60 grit, you will increase the bonding surface approximately 3 times. This will increase the holding power of the adhesive tremendously. With your handles, it may not be necessary as they are not likely to be under a heavy load but if you are on the edge, it can be a make or break addition to the assembly. Additionally, wetting the surface well is also important for the highest bond strength. Of course, I'm sure you'd just weld up the assembly rather than gluing if strength of the joint was questionable.

yeah welding it is my first choice, I figured I try and offer an alternative to people without a welder. good tip with abrading the surface for sure

The real question is : Why do ALL black fingernails have to be at the bottom? I wish I could get just one at the top where it just grows out.

Right! And I nailed that one between the car door and the dumpster outside off my shop
