Nice tutorial fam!!!! How many beats do you set your reverb to? I have a ddj sx2 controller. I rarely use reverb. It comes off as loud to me.....Just picking your brain! Great videos!
@DJLiftOFF2 жыл бұрын
Appreciate you! Great questions. I usually do a gradual fade from low to medium with my reverb and it’s typically set to 1! I don’t change the beats too often for reverb, if at all. Just the depth.

My Ranes Start so Slow when i let them Go.. i always have to throw them in… how do i set it up like u have it?
@DJLiftOFF2 жыл бұрын
Mine start slow the same way! It’s because they are imitating a real turntable and don’t start instantaneously. What I usually do is just use cue points, hold them, then press the play.

Im sorry nothing personal but this is computerized “ dj-ing” might be some kind of art, but has nothing to do with how it was done by the pro’s without all the technology. All I see is you are teaching new generation stuff to new generation music.. I mean track players.
@DJLiftOFF3 жыл бұрын
I can see where you’re coming from for sure. I’m sure there are teachings of using vinyl turntables with no computer, and the use of needles, etc. I personally know how to Dj without a computer, but I think it’s a new time and technology has developed, and I’m focused on teaching modern DJ’ing. I fully respect the OG DJ’s and the art of DJ’ing in the sense of where it began... I just don’t teach it as I enjoy using the new technologies and teaching it as so many use modern tech today.
@enjoyenjoy57213 жыл бұрын
@@DJLiftOFF That is also based on my believes and the art. And also why I dont give it a thumbs down. I'm not a judge, but appreciate your answer and see that you put passion in it. That's all that counts. Eventhough a painting can be not nice for some it still is a masterpiece of art. For sure if I can advice anyone with the interest of scratching with ' new gear' I will recommend your lessons! Take care.
