Is John Sullivan the best British comedy writer of all time? Probably… yes. He could do emotion, drama and poignant moments amongst the comedy. Cassandra’s miscarriage is for me the best piece of comedy writing of all time. It’s gutting to watch but he still manages to add elements of light comedy and somehow never loses the moment of emotion. Tear jerking but genius.

@theAEDan2 жыл бұрын
@Leonard 44 yup.
@theAEDan2 жыл бұрын
@Leonard 44 it’s simple really. There’s been a campaign for the past 80 years pushing ideologies like multiculturalism. The big bad now is the Austrian painter, you aren’t allowed to think anything like the Austrian painter thought, which means believing that a people should retain dominance in their own country is tantamount to heresy or just out right sin. That indoctrination is omnipresent. It’s in schools, films and even media. Even patriotism has been subverted. A patriotic person or nationalist isn’t proud of Agincourt or Waterloo so much as they’re proud of the Spitfire and the Battle of Britain, so even being a British nationalist means supporting diversity by being proud of the fight against homogeneity. Most people will just go along with it, it tends to be human nature to agree with the popular authority, hence why they will sit back and watch themselves and their culture be marginalised in their own ancestral home without comment because disagreeing with it would be wrong if not evil. If you’re wondering who’s to blame though, it’s not the Muslims or black people. Largely, it’s rich white people. They want more workers, they’ve encouraged women into the workforce to push wages down and productivity up but that’s crippled the birth rate which harms sustainability so the answer to the that is mass immigration. Course mass immigration means tensions between groups which will harm productivity, so they push multiculturalism. Some media outlets occasionally run stories that seem to enflame tensions between groups, that fits. They want people to get on well enough to generate profit, but not so well that they unify against them. However, if you do look into who runs the media you might notice there is one group that seems hugely over represented but just see what happens when you point that out.

@@wisteela a 6%over voltage in the uk at the time (which would be perfectly within spec) would be 254.4V which would be almost 16% over 220 putting it out with the specified range at the time. while most things were tolerant there were still a lot of bits of kit with linear supplies and plenty of other things where over voltage could be a real problem. I've seen damage occur on modern psus with a 260V inlet.

Actually the UK DOES have different Plugs and sockets and an entirely higher voltage at 240 Volts and the UK plugs are 3 PIN Plugs with Fuses in them so Rodney is stating the absolute truth,UK Electricity is way different to the other areas of Europe
@DerekHundik Жыл бұрын
@@stephensnell5707 no its not. Its the same. You can use European appliances in UK just press down the earth terminal in socket and there you go . Also you can cut the plug and put UK one . Same with UK appliances in Europe but you have change the plug in terms to use European sockets. I use both of them for ages. Even in my parents house i installed UK extension lead for easy access. Don't need those flimsy travel adapters anymore. Btw voltage its not much of the concern as most of devices working voltage range is between 220 -240V. The voltage supplied by the power companies isn't fixed anyway.
