Speaking about Dong Yang, I recalled someone writing on either IEG Wikia or Elevation Fandom that the elevators in the former Biak Beach Marauw Hotel used to be Dong Yangs. I wonder how they know that - even the latest photos of that hotel that I can find were after the elevators were completely dismantled.

This article mentions that place: elevbrochurearchive.files.wordpress.com/2020/03/kon_jun_1992_dongyang_ocr.pdf (refer to the very last paragraph on the second page). I was me who wrote the former Biak Beach Hotel having Dong Yang elevators in the past.

Looks like the first one was partially modernized by ThyssenKrupp while the rest were modded by generic (or generic ThyssenKrupp). Btw I guess that the 1980s Dong Yang elevators at Plasa Simpang Lima used to have these fixtures before they were modded by Killar. I guess so because all elevators in this video had the same hall indicators, and the original arrows inside looked very 1980s. If not then they probably had the rectangular plastic buttons.

@Wiwuuvators: I doubt the ones at Plasa Simpang Lima used to have these fixtures. I'm guessing that they most likely had the old rectangle buttons as the interior floor indicators (which no longer work after the modernization) are the older type with the square lights and the building itself was built in the late 1980s and during that time the black square Toshiba/Dong Yang buttons weren't available until around the very early 1990s.

@@idl3k_elev I guess you're right, those elevators probably had those rectangular buttons. Only Pillar and elevator enthusiasts who rode the original elevators know the exact old fixtures though.

@@idl3k_elev PJL 116 said that "one of the arrow buttons (call buttons) used to have a green indicator." I suspect they had the Toshiba Computer Control fixtures like in Jayakarta Bandung. I still don't know though; the original call station hole (which is invisible but are actually there) seems to be too large for the 1990s buttons.

Second one indicator's arrow blinking doesn't make sense. ( It blinks to show it is moving )

I'm sure ThyssenKrupp modified those elevators. Look at the new indicators (probably replaced the old ones)

+Evadinnn And I believe ThyssenKrupp maintains the elevators in there.

The last elevator has generic chime.

IIRC someone told me that one of the ThyssenKrupp elevators at Menara Kuningan, Jakarta has this same chime. I think it was the VIP/executive elevator or something.
