Thank you for keeping your videos within a reasonable length and giving great info. These 1.5 to 2 hr videos for crafting just can't hold my attention! Who has that kind of time?

Love this short informative vid. I was really curious how you made the card that was on Tim's live and now I know. So simple, effective, and absolutely beautiful. Time to get those inks out!

Wow, Wow. I really love this video. I am one of those with many alcohol products and look at them with trepidation. I don't want a mess or a mistake. I have finally ordered the Tim Holtz blowing tool since it is in many videos and appears to do an excellent job. Your backgrounds are wonderful and my favourite card is the one you lifted off the background then stamped the beautiful butterfly. So unexpected, since I do not have and have not seen the Alcohol Lift Ink and Reinker in action. Thank you. 🌷🇨🇦

Thank you so much for watching. It is a bit hard to “play” but honestly it’s the only way to learn and get used to them. ❤️

Freezer paper is a good slick work surface to work on also if you don’t have a glass mat.

Someday I’ll dive into alcohol inks. It’s always been my favorite look, technique. I’m just rating to do stenciling. I just don’t have much time and there’s so much to try.

Tiffany Solorio, as always you are the best teacher! Just started papercrafting and was awful at alcohol inking. Your PDF handout has saved me and this makes it so much easier for me to try again. I am wondering if their is another media grip mat you could recommend. The Holtz mat is sold out everywhere, including Tonic Studios, so not sure if it will be available in the future. And would be much nicer to use than ink bottles on the corners. :)

I thought it would be perfect to use the lifted inked stamp off print on the envelope to match the card. You could just use a part of it if there’s not much room on your envelope for a larger stamp.

I love these ideas! I recently bought alcohol inks and will try this soon. One question, can you use alcohol inks on regular paper orvdo you need special paper for that?

I have used poster board (from $ store) cut up and vellum

@@nancyglaspie6735 Supposedly, glossy photo paper works as well (not Kodak or cheap photo paper, I think 🤔)! 🙂

How many times have i heard people using the isopropyl alcohol, and I go straight back to my mat and end up using blending solution?!? No wonder nothing turns out the way I hope. What strength of the alcohol do you recommend, Tiffany? I hear a lot of people say that the high 90s are best.
@Tiffany.Solorio2 жыл бұрын
I use 91% or higher. I like blending solution, it is just expensive. lol.
@jeannewagner81332 жыл бұрын
@@Tiffany.Solorio Thank you. So does it matter which you use? I have never used the alcohol before... just the solution.
