I've been playing for a long time, and TO THIS DAY I still practice my blast beats with your VERY FIRST EXERCISE which is a single stroke roll on the snare with half time on the feet. Its the best way to make sure everything is super tight.

Could you play double strokes on you feet for the bomb blast since there 16th notes?Or does it have to be singles or it won t sound right.I can do Traditional blasts up to a certian tempo like 120bpm but I have trouble with the bomb blasts.I can't get them up as fast for some reason.

Hey Robert, if you feel comfortable playing double strokes instead of singles, then go for it! There are no hard and fast rules. I'd suggest grabbing my free double bass drumming mini course for getting your feet faster. (see pinned comment)
