Cracking job mate like them may have to look at making a few of them. Struggling with Christmas sales so maybe these are the answer 🤷👍🏴

Thanks mate, appreciate it. It’s always tricky to know what to make that’ll sell so doesn’t hurt to try a few different ideas.

@@lionandbear absaloutley mate that and if doesn't sell don't end up with piles of stuff that you can't shift 😕🏴👍

I wish I had a planer. A jointer would be nice as well, but there are some easy ways around not having a jointer. Oh, and it's always exciting to shoot a nail through one's finger. As for Christmas projects, I like the ones you've featured here. I want to build a few and see if I can sell them. The cord wrapping piece is neat as well! Thanks for sharing.

From my experience a planer/Thicknesser will get you more value than a jointer or combo machine to be honest. It’s surprising how handy that cord organiser is!

@@lionandbear - I agree. I think I'd get MUCH more bang for the buck from a planer. Jointing can be done quite easily on my table saw with a jig.

Haha, you must be telepathic with your remark about shooting a Brad nail,into your fingers…. I was making this exact same project yesterday, but slightly bigger. My timber was 24mm thick, so my 45mm brad nails worked a treat for joining 2 pieces together….. that is until I got to join the top triangle, forgot about the angles involved, and fired the nail straight through, and also into my finger by 3mm 😂😂. No real damage, but made me laugh out loud when I watched your vid! New viewer here - keep up the great content :)

Oh wow! Close call then 🙈 I’m paranoid that I’ll fire into a finger at some point as they can take on a mind of their own when you fire them in! Thanks for the kind words and I’ll do my best to keep up the content levels! I’m improving with every video so fingers crossed I can keep going

What glue is that you're using for the Christmas tree?
@lionandbear2 ай бұрын
It’s a brand called Cascamite. It’s a powdered resin glue that comes in powder form that you then mix with water. They sponsored a couple of my videos. It’s really good stuff and can be mixed up as/when you need it but can be a bit of a pain to do compared to normal PVA glue so it depends on what works best for you. Check out my Dining Table build if you want to see a bit more about it. kzbin.info/www/bejne/i6fccnqhqrWtaLMsi=dRc2ekrLSSmPnXzz

@@lionandbear Thanks for the reply, I wondered if it was cascamite because of the transluscent wallpaper paste appearance. I'll check out the dining table later, I'm supposed to be out in the garedn now 🙂
