I’m sure I speak for a lot of us when I say my lettering is really subpar - however, I’ve just found a solution! I’ve purchased a “Merry Christmas” stamp and use embossing powder over the stamp ink to make it look nice! So you can stamp and emboss in gold or, like I do, stamp and emboss in black! Viola! Nobody needs to learn to letter lol

Emma, thank you for these ideas. They're beautiful! I really like how you start out demonstrating the elements before jumping in to the design. It really helps with practice before getting into the design. I use those Strathmore cards. I do prefer using the Arches Cold Pressed and pasting it on the card for sure but I've gotten used to using just the Strathmore to save time. They're beautiful! I can tell you are really getting more comfortable and confident in your tutorials. Thank you for all you do to help us be better artists!

I use Canson for my watercolor cards and cut a piece to 9.5 X 6.75", fold to 4.75 X 6.5 and paint right on the card, just a suggestion.

I've just found your channel and loving it - thank you so much for all the work you put into creating free content for us!! As someone with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, I can't help but notice the very flexible movements of your hands and fingers. I don't know if you navigate hypermobility beyond that, or even to the extent of something like EDS. But if so, I know how painful it can be, and you have my sincere acknowledgment regarding all that it takes to move through a day of work and life. Emma, I have painted a picture that I like. It’s a flower and I Now need to do the background. Since it’s watercolor I don’t want the background bleeding into the flower. Would it be best to wet the entire background or leave it dry. I’m wanting the background to blend with itself. Hope this makes sense.

You make sense. I think you are hearing you differently. Pregnancy brain is kind of frustrating- just embrace it. I did. I'm expected to have answers, 99% of them. When I was pregnant, I was a Complete Air-Head. It was very obvious to me, but, not as bad as I Thought. I often felt I was off, or, a simple word/phrase Refused to surface for me... once I decided not to fight it- it was funny instead of frustrating 🙃 (my Baby is 26)

I ordered that very box, last year. I've gone to cutting 3.5 x 5 giving me 4 fronts per card, and using them That way, instead. I like it better. I agree it's OK paper- I found, cutting it down, and even taping it- if I plan on more wet... it is better than when used as is- if that came out correctly. Emma, Help! I would LOVE to win your brushes, I can't find even a spot for a notification when in stock. I recall, after Christmas. But, thought we could "Pre-Order" ... I cannot find them on Craftamo ... it Very Well could be my searching. But, I did search using your name W/ the brushes, in multiple ways. Nothing 😞
