Endlich habe ich jemanden gefunden der mir etwas im Valheim Bausystem beibringen kann. Danke dir Smitty❤

Their wall may start out looking like this...the problem-- I'ma stop you right there. You are a baseboard, trim, window, and window bars beyond what my walls look like XD
@frankgoesdownstairsАй бұрын
The walls look good and all, but the real challenge comes when using these methods and having to make corners look good, and roof on top of it all
@NicholasBrakespearАй бұрын
And making sure the rain doesn't damage any of it.
@TheGolferguy71Ай бұрын
@@NicholasBrakespear Wow, it's been so long since I played without the "no rain damage" mod I forgot that was an actual thing.

Stone and black marble columns make for a really nice accent, and they even allow you to build higher.

I'm past (current) end game and looking for things to do. For some time, I've been wanting to up my build game and just started watching your channel. This is a perfect technique tutorial for me. Thanks so much!

Getting three different layers, consistent and regular, can also be done by using the "door trick". The basic door can be moced a bit forward and backward from the center wall line. It is perfect for creating depth like you are doing here.

For me personally, building is the bread and butter of this game, and i have been searching for ways to improve my building skills, thank you for showing this. Will surely implement these tips in my buildings!

It's been a week since I started playing this game and I really loving the building system, the details and depth in this game. Your video is helping me a lot, awesome tutorials. Now I can't stop building ...

Those are some beautiful walls, some would say MOST beautiful walls. This video came around just in time, too. You can help make walls great again, Smitty! Love seeing your videos ♥

Gorgeous examples! I love the different options at the end!

Thank you for the tutorial, I really learned a lot and can't wait to start my next build!

Nice to see you're back in Valheim. Missed your creations already. Does that mean we can expact more Valheim videos soon?
@yomammasaurusrex9571Ай бұрын
Idk if youre aware, but you can press Shift + Middle Mouse Button (or whatever your delete keybind is) to copy the build piece you are looking at. Just makes things a little quicker so you dont have to open the build menu each time.
@pahasaradiasАй бұрын
I also use a method called the pull out method... great method, specially it stops me from making mistakes....
@SuperEdvinssonАй бұрын
As a frequent Valheim player, I always come back to your videos for inspiration. But for me, it's also important that my houses doesnt suffer from rain durability loss. I would love if you kept that in consideration when making your designs
@bale9320Ай бұрын
Many people got the mod to prevent the rain from damaging structures. I do and i'm pretty sure all youtubers do too.

Always a pleasure to watch, sai. Your instructions are most enlightening.

So pretty and a cool change for the builds. Thank you❤

Really cool ! If you can investigate and produce a video on what that would look like with black marble and grausten. _(a video showcase each)_ Show us what you can come up with, using your method.

Oh this will help me ALOT, thank you!

About to hop back into Valheim - glad I subbed you a while back :)

I used to be so good that layering in Minecraft, I'm not sure why I still struggle so much in Valheim. So much more detail maybe? Regardless, this video was brilliant and I'm half tempted to tear down my already huge base just to do it right from the start. The wall at 6:52 is definitely going to be my inspiration.

Smitty, I always complain about my friends building BABs in our multiplayer server. Basic Asset Barns. I hope they take notes form your video!

If you’re a perfectionist who needs snapping to get everything aligned just right, just know that doors can stack horizontally.

@TheLaluciDanielАй бұрын
you can easily do this with a door, it has the ability to pull forwards walls, meaning no weird free hands
@meskirianАй бұрын
That's a good one.
@tigransafaryan6619Ай бұрын
It's always comes down to performance for me. Every time i build something i think do i want it to look cool or do i want this base run above 50fps... What a bummer.

Now do the roof

Very nice
@agregorini8815 күн бұрын
Ive realized thats its not that im a bad builder, i just spend wood on other things, those last walls are expensive.
@tonyh8166Ай бұрын
The problem with the pull-forward option is roofing to protect the forward part from the rain. The push-back option can be covered just fine as normal. How do you deal with the roof?
@sTiEnArАй бұрын
Create overhangs with the roof tiles so they stick out a meter or more past the wall.
@tonyh8166Ай бұрын
@@sTiEnAr Fair enough I suppose, and I suspected as much, I'm just a little leary because overhangs can obscure part of the decorative walls.
@robdredd209423 күн бұрын
pls do a proper street design that goes beyond the on its own ugly paved road texture. paved road on its own almost always looks cheap due to the textures having so many rough edges cause they fill out specific spaces in the grid, so to make it look like more than a forest path it needs some framing with pillars, walls or fences
@GreenDeemonllАй бұрын
Already hihg wood costs 📈📈📈
@Element0w117 күн бұрын
This is very nice. Too bad all that extra wood doesn't just grow on trees.. oh wait.

Its a shame you cant build crude stone walls without the stone cutter, they need to change that.
