Also keep an eye on the skid plate bolts if you did not use locktite on them. They will vibrate loose pretty quickly. I put the stickers on my tool box. 😁

if you spray rubber undercoat onto the top of the ricochet it really cuts down on the reflected noise. i used a whole can.

Where did you get your rubber undercoat? Does it not smell when I gets hot or melt?

@@hurt1704 rubber body undercoating, picked it up at my local hardware store (ace hardware if you have one). since the plate never really touches the engine it doesnt get hot so no thats never been an issue.

@@hurt1704 youre welcome! remember to apply it to the top of the plate (the side facing you) and you should make sure the surface is thoroughly cleaned (use your favorite solvent) to ensure adhesion. its been well over a year and no problems for mine... even when the numbskull at the dealership turned a power washer on it during an oil change service. (they wash the bike as part of the service)

How did u connect the seat cover?

It buckled underneath the seat. Pretty easy setup but you have to make sure it’s tight enough to stay on and loose enough to reattach the seat.
