✅ [Nursery school] Tuna Vegetable Rice (2 cups)
Rice ... 2 cups
1/3 carrot (60g)
Canned tuna ... 1 can (80g)
3 komatsuna leaves (120g)
1 tablespoon (19g) soy sauce
2 teaspoons (12g) mirin
✅ [Elementary school] Tuna Vegetable Rice (2 cups)
2 cups rice
1/3 carrot (60g)
Canned tuna ... 1 can (80g)
3 komatsuna leaves (120g)
1 1/2 tablespoons (30g) soy sauce
1 tablespoon (18g) mirin
1 Soak rice with normal amount of water for at least 30 minutes.
2 Roughly chop carrots. Drain oil from canned tuna.
3 Add seasonings to 1 and mix.
4 Roughly chop komatsuna and boil in boiling water for 5 minutes. Soak in running water and squeeze to drain well.
5 Add the komatsuna to the cooked rice and mix well.
🍳Points
The seasonings will prevent the rice from absorbing water, so be sure to soak the rice for at least 30 minutes before adding the seasonings.

Minced pork ...80g

1 teaspoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon (18g) mirin (sweet cooking rice wine)

1 teaspoon (6g) soy sauce
1 teaspoon (5g) miso

Minced pork ...160g
Green onion ...20g
1 tablespoon sesame oil
2 tablespoons (36g) mirin (sweet cooking rice wine)
1 tablespoon (8g) sugar
2 teaspoons (12g) soy sauce
1/2 tablespoon (9g) miso
1 Finely chop green onion.
2 Put sesame oil in a frying pan, add green onion and saute over low heat for 1 minute, then add minced pork and saute for 4 minutes.
Add seasonings and saute quickly over low heat for 1 to 2 minutes.
3 Mix 2 with warm rice and make into rice balls.

When frying green onions, be careful not to burn them after adding seasonings.
Mix rice and ingredients together to make it easier for children to eat 🍳.

3 cm (35g) carrot
120ml soup stock
1 teaspoon (3g) sugar
2 teaspoons (12g) mirin
1/2 tablespoon (8g) soy sauce

Rice ...450g
Vinegar ...less than 1 tablespoon (12g)
Sugar ... 2 teaspoons (5.5g)
Salt ...1/4 teaspoon (1.6g)
2 pieces (45g) fried tofu
1/3 carrot (50g)
160ml soup stock
2 teaspoons (5g) sugar
1 tablespoon (18g) mirin
2/3 tablespoon (13g) soy sauce
1. Cut carrots into short, thin strips. Pour boiling water over fried tofu to remove excess oil, and cut into short strips.
2. Put soup stock, sugar, mirin, and 1 in a pan, cover with a lid, and simmer over low heat for 10 minutes. When carrots become soft, add soy sauce, remove lid and simmer over low heat for 3 minutes until all the liquid is absorbed. Remove from heat and let the flavors soak in.
3 Mix vinegar, sugar, and salt into warm rice.
4 Mix 1 and 3 together and make into rice balls.
🍳Points
🍳 To allow the carrots and fried tofu to soak up the flavors as they cool, remove from the heat while still in the pot.
